I have also experienced this issue and have only been able to play twice in 3 weeks. I have opened/forwarded ports, used a LAN cable, contacted support on separate occasions and they continue to give me the same "fixes" that don't actually work. After contacting my IP they told me there is a known issue with the game where it requires a public IP address. This may indeed be true but my understanding is that having a public IP also makes your system more susceptible to security issues not to mention it costs more money.

I am understanding that MMOs have to deal with a lot of issues at launch but getting kicked out while playing is a separate issue from never actually being able to play. It is unfortunate that so many players are experiencing this and then given the run around. I hope they find a fix for this issue because the short amount of time I have played was enjoyable but I have spent many more hours looking for solutions and contacting support than playing the game and my own personal patience is reaching its end. If anyone has a solution that has worked please suggest. Thank you
