Character transfer between servers

When I set up my character, I accidently did so on the European server. Is there some way to transfer character to the North American server?

This would be a nice feature to add in.

Once the disconnects and inability-to/trouble-with logging in issues are fixed, of course.

But I still like this idea very much, OP.

Unfortunately that is not possible. Once you create a character on a server - it stays there. As a heads up as well, any purchases from the crown store will stay on the same server you purchased it on.

Meaning - if you buy a horse from the crown store while on the European server - that horse will only be available to your characters on the European server.

Well, unless you have several real life friends playing as well, you may just want to continue playing on EU? You won't exactly be playing at peak times, but I've heard that it's not a huge difference in quality (lag, ping etc.). Or, just bite the bullet early and buy it on the NA server.

PS - Just to you know, if you want to notify someone when you mention them, enter their name as @Tornok in the forums. only people who have starred or created the thread get notifications when new replies are made, and they may not come back at commenting

@MissBizz All of my friends are playing on the North American server. Fortunately I hadn't gotten too far on my character, so I won't be loosing too much time playing. Since there isn't a way to transfer character, I guess I will have to fork out the $$ to purchase things again. Kind of BS though.

Can I upgrade from a Standard Edition to an Imperial Edition whenever I want?

All customers who have purchased the Standard Edition can upgrade to the Imperial Edition in the in-game Crown Store. This will allow them to receive the exclusive collection of in-game rewards.

Please note that the benefits associated with the Imperial Edition upgrade will only be made available for characters on the same megaserver (NA or EU) on which it was initially purchased. For example, players who purchased the Imperial Edition upgrade from the Crown Store while logged into a character on the NA megaserver would not receive the upgrade for their characters on the EU megaserver as well.

I was referencing the imperial edition, although the explorers pack should have the same rules appy to it

When I couldn't get on the NA server, support suggested I log into the EU server. Now that I've spent several days on the EU server, my friends ended up on the NA server. I don't have lots of time for game playing so this is really aggravating. I'm glad I resisted purchasing Crowns. Not sure I can recommend this product. Seems the character data can be stored on the console.

Are you sure about there being little difference in lag/ping ? I'm in NA, but I created my two characters on EU because it made more sense due when I can play (my schedule is opposite of most).

But the lag in Cyrodiil is almost unbearable. I rage quit for the first time today because I literally couldn't use my abilities to compete against other players during medium to large-scale battles.

Would it be different if I were on the NA server?

To be honest, I don'T see much difference in the ping switching from EU to NA. I live in the USA but my main character is on the EU server. Recently however I've been noticing unusually high ping on both servers. Although that issue has only been the last week or so, the whole point of the mega servers is to make playing on either server easy and without these latency issues. I think they're still just working out some kinks.
