I was thinking about getting back into eso, and I'm curious to how many people are playing the game?

Is there a website that tracks character/server/race/guild information?

How many sub to f2p players?

What are some of the top pvp/trading/crafting/pve guilds?

ZOS doesn't give out those numbers so the best you'll get here is guesses and speculation

As for the top guilds - surely someone has a few to list

Also, I see that Motif's are now in the crown store. Does this mean they are no longer dropping in-game?

There are stll dropping ingame.

Population is quite okay imo. Actually more than okay. Citys are full (talking about EU Megaserver) but i don't think, its absolutely different on NA.

As for Guilds - depends on which server you want to play. As for trading guild, just look arround in Rawl Kha, Elden Root...the big citys with more than 2 Vendors

I would say PC NA pop (DC side) is at a better place then it was this time last year. On both my new orc and vr orcs there seems to be more people around.

Information for all servers would be appreciated though - for any-other new/returning members looking for similar information.

After poking my head in the guild recruitment forums - I notice East Empire Trading Co. and Tamriel Stock Exchange are still around, so I'll try those out - I forgot that they installed guild vendors in major cities** thx @Sinbaar

Any opinions on Classes? What seems to be the favored pvp class - when I had played before NB w/ bow (or was it sorc/bow) was faceroll class. Has this changed at all?

I've been looking through esowiki and eso.info for information - anyone else have any suggested sites?

What about Add-ons? Gimme a list of "Must haves"

MiniMap
Master Merchant
Lorebooks (if you don't have mages guild maxed on all toons)
Skyshard Hunter
FTC (even if you don't like the dps counter it has some other stuff that's nice)

Looks like you PVP so CyrHud and Kill Counter
I prefer AUI to FTC
If you craft, Multicraft adds a slider so you don't have to push R constantly for making pots and food
Awesome Guild store adds nice filters to your shopping
Advanced Filters for your bank
S'rendar Buff and Debuff tracker
Destinations if you level by questing and want to make sure you get everything in a zone

PVP is dead on PC NA compared to PC EU...

The PC population is going down and down because people are waiting for some content. There are no real "top guilds" because the end game is so easy you can pug almost all of it. PvP is just zerg vs. zerg when it comes to "guilds". So my conclusion when they add new DLC more people will come back and try it out, because people sitting on 4 or 5 VR14s and 500cp with almost every title are finished right now.
