Bug: Guild Trade options grayed out with reproduction steps
I tried uploading a video to YT to show it, but had problems, so I'll try and explain best I can with reproducability steps.
Tested platform: PS4
Issue: Grayed out options when moving from top-down in guild trade options menu. Possibly due to previous options layout overlaying and not allowing you to choose filter for next option.
Reproduction steps:
1.) Go to any guild trader
2.) Choose crafting -> blacksmith -> temper -> submit
3.) Change to clothing and try and choose any sub-option, they are all grayed out and won't let you select
How to not get affected by this, reverse the order of selection by going bottom-up
1.) Go to any guild trader
2.) Choose crafting -> clothing -> resin -> submit
3.) Change to blacksmith and happily choose any of your sub-options.

OzJohnD✭✭✭✭You may find that it is triggered by a nul return search (ie searching on things that are not available in the store) ... I have vague memories of this being the issue in the PC version and your solution of changing the search options before going back to the real search you want is what I remember worked for me on PC
I'm pretty unimpressed by how many issues in the PC version have not been fixed and were therefore carried over into console versions.Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

Nope, not null options. I have seen that thappen on weapons when there were no entries and the values were grayed, but it always happens regardless of values in the list returning when doing top-down. At the very least for crafts as that's all I search for now.
I used to have to exit the menu and go back in to try and search again before I started using bottom-up search for my crafts.0 -
