Senche Lioness Now Available in Crown Store

I'm not surprised one bit, the lioness was datamined long long ago. Still waiting on the clouded to make it's appearance, oh.. and the monkey that was datamined that isn't the beta monkey.

Bears. Bears will be next. Okay, maybe next next (August). My guess.

@JamilaRaj There's no reason to put a downer on this beautiful mount. Sure, it doesn't quite look like an actual lioness. But have you even played the game? Go to the Grahtwood and you'll see A) a circus, and B.) Senche-lionesses, as well as senche-tigers. Also seen tigers in Khenarthi's Roost.

That's true, and while the senche lioness doesn't look quite like an actual lioness, the lore is unclear on the exact nature of various senches (which ones can be considered khajiit, and which ones can't? It's only trruly clear to khajiit), so it's entirely possible that it's not the same animal as a real world lioness anyway.

Also, some sort of senche as mounts for khajiit has been in TES lore for a very long time.

is it just me who thinks this is utherly stupid? even tho the senche lioness is not a limited edition its the same boring mount for the 3 or 4th time now..

selling the same mount wich took Zenimax like 5 min to create a new texture for? if u dont have a cat mount from b4 sure its worth it if u feel u want it no offence.

To zenimax - You could:

1. alternate between other type of mount. like a guar or a horse limited edition mount if u dont feel like creating a brand new one. that way u wount make the crownstore such a dumpster for cat mounts with diffrent texture..

2. you could sell the texture pack cheaper for the people that already own a cat mount from before.. that way u could prolly have more people buying it.

3. put some heart in it instead of just doing a half-assed attempt of getting my cash.. stop being a one-trick-pony, ppl will eventually get bored if they already havent.

Sure i understand that the crownstore is optional but i have no problems spending money on a game if i feel its worth it.. after the 2nd cat mount came around i was not rly impressed.

I do like the look of the Lioness, but I would be all over a Lion mount if one was released, even as a time-limited offer and provided it was well done. Hopefully that's next in the queue (even though that would require something a little more complex than a reskin of current meshes).

To clarify, is there a way to acquire specialty mounts in-game? Or is it just the horse skins at the stable that are non-crown?

I'd love a white tiger mount myself. The lioness looks good, but a tiger is better, imho.

First off a lion is not a tiger. Perhaps the artists need to take some refreshers in the basic differences between them and do the species some justice.

Just because female lions are smaller than males, and therefore easier to project into the tiger skins already introduced to the game, does not mean these are beautiful as they deserve to be, let alone unique and worth buying. All these cats are starting to look the same, and the hybrid label "Senche-lioness" is just a cop out if you ask me....
