Please provide players the option to decide if they want to be automatically added to area voice chat.
It gets tiring to be automatically added into area group chat and hearing the loud pets, screaming children, children swearing, etc and having to manually leave the channel all of the time.
Allow players to set a global setting to auto-join or not and let them manually join if they so desire. In most cases, open world requires very little need(note the word there, need) to use voice chat as a default.
In many cases I am in a Party group and using that for voice when I want it, the quality seems to be better than the in-game also. Maybe even go so far as to configure ESO to be 'smart' enough to detect when you are in the XBOX Party app that and will set in-game voice to auto leave....

Dragoe✭I would love some sort of customization in how the voice chat works. I typically leave voice chat all together, as a lot of it tends to be peoples mics picking up ambient background noise or really loud and random conversations. I would love to be able to change the default to having voice chat off, or change it to default to a certain channel in a certain guild.
Also I'm not sure if its intended or a bug but its annoying when you leave voice chat but change zones and then it puts you right back in voice chat automatically. I end up having to leave voice chat 5 times from running back and forth to the bank and outlaws refuge.
There also seems to be a bug where sometimes it does nothing when I try to leave voice chat, I press x but it doesn't respond to the button press and refuses to leave. Relogging fixes this issue but makes it even more annoying that I have to relog.0
