Weapon Trait "Weighted" Needs Improvement

Similar to how the Nightblade ability "haste" was totally scrapped and reworked due to attack speed not being useful because of animation canceling, weighted is in the exact same boat. This weapon trait has not been improved, and will seldomly be used.

Considering 1.6 is a major balance update, I think this issue needs to be addressed before it goes live. The trait needs to be competitive with sharpened and precise. I think a quick and simple fix it would be to have it "increase critical damage". That way you can choose whether you want more armor/spell pen with sharpened, more crit chance with precise, or harder hitting crits with weighted. Ofcourse the numbers will have to be tested and balanced. Thanks and looking forward to 1.6

    Indeed. I also agree with your suggestion, critical damage is something that many would want.

    attack speed has also been removed from flurry morphs, so it should be removed from weapons aswell, pretty sure that they simply did not think about it

    IMO they should change weighted to increase weapon damage / spell power. Currently there's no trait for that, and it'd be something that could contend with sharpened and precise for damage dealing.

    Weighted trait is very very very solid for certain builds. If you cannot see difference in performance while having it or not then it is not for your build. Find other traits that suit your build better.

    Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
    Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
    Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
    Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
    Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
    Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
    Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

    It must have been overlooked. All other attack speed modifiers from flurry, to medium 5 piece bonus, to haste were all removed. Yet this remains in the game.

    weighted is my favorite trait and the only one that actually changes how weapons "feel" when you use them, really hope it stays but would also like the idea of a trait that increases critical damage

    If done right this could be epic, unfortunately I have very little faith left in ZOS.

    Why don't your improve powered, charged and infused, which are totally useless because enchantments suck.

    I would love to see it give the old torug pact bug. (reduced GCD) That bug allowed you to pull off L/H "attack combos". You could weave light and heavy attacks in a similar way to how you can weave basic attacks with skill attacks. It made for some really cool sword play. There was even a 7hit combo you could do with perfect timing.

    It might not be as good as the bugged set, but it still gives life to "certain" builds that diverge from the overplayed current builds. And if I want it to stay like this (underplayed), I think I already said too much....

    so does it work haste used to it reduce the time between LA so with weaving it was a dps gain.
