Hey! I'm courious if and how important race is. Especially with non-standard class-race choices.
So my questions are:
Are racial skills important? Especially in PVP?
Is the Altmer race fine for sorc and nightblade?
Is the Orismer race fine for sorc and nightblade?

Alp2760✭✭I'm a complete noob but from what I've read, most raves are fine for most classes and roles.
Is altmer the high elf? If so, don't they get more magicka regen and magicka damage? I made my sorc a high elf, with nightblade I went khajiit for the weapon crit.
I'll be interested to see the replies and how you get on because the above is basically the blind leading the blind

RACE is not important,
You can use any race for any class however there are a few Race/Class matches that just work the best,
Altmer/Breton - Mages
Khajit/Woodelf - NB
Dunmer - DK
Breton/Altmer - Templar
It all depends on your playstyle and build,
If you build a magicka build you look for the race with the best magicka passives,
same with Stamina builds.

If you're going to heal, Breton. If you're magicka based DPS, Altmer. For everything else, Imperial. No I didn't read past the title, but unfortunately I don't need to. The races in this game are very unbalanced.0 -

Only for sneaking. For damage and tanking Imperial is easy mode. Khajiit gets a little bit of melee crit, but nothing that helps with bows. Bosmer gets a pitiful 3% stamina. Imperial gets 12% health, 10% stamina and melee hits have a heal proc. That said, my nightblade is a Bosmer because I'm going vampire and will need to sneak a lot to feed, and also because I'm a kleptomaniac. Just depends on whether you value DPS and survivability or stealthyness more.0 -
