Almost 50 templar yet need good solo build AOE and single target

So almost 50 and yet still struggling agianst world bosses as templar atm (full magicka build (light armor)) using AOE = puncturing sweep, entropy, repentance, inner light and bol with cresent sweep for aoe solo ... BUT for my 2nd bar is purifying light, dark flare, radiant oppressor, inner light and entropy (and nova as ultimate) for Single Target

Okay, I would switch entropy out on your aoe and use blazing spear, splitting soul trap, or reflective light (if you picked that morph). Crescent sweep is ok for now, but you should use Dawnbreaker for your AOE as soon as you get it. Honor the dead is a better choice for a self heal, but if you like to off heal Breath of Life is fine.

Your single target setup looks pretty good, but I would replace nova with Soul Strike as soon as you get it.

On the whole, you have a pretty good idea what you are doing. World bosses are generally pretty difficult, so you may need to develop a boss setup. Blazing shield and Spiked Bone Shield will help you significantly with soloing public dungeon and world bosses.

Destruction staff mostly

You should use Crushing Shock instead of Purifying Light. The destruction staff has perks that give you magicka when you kill something with destruction staff attacks or skills.
