Magnaria92
Magnaria92
Soul Shriven
I just began with a Nord Templar and I would like him to be more tanky than a healer so he can mainly tank but also heal himself in any circumstances or any ally, please I would be very grateful if anyone can help me... Thanks!

Magicka build or hybrid. Attributes all into health or spread between magicka and health. 5 heavy 2 light. 5 piece Seducer and the rest could be either something with spell power(for heals) or some tanking oriented sets or magnus for additional cost reductions. Or just Warlock.
Jewelries could be Warlock or whatever you have until you level up. Use block cost reduction enchants if you have access. Distribute your CP accordingly on block and magicka cost reduction, blessed and bastion (if any)
Use 1 hand and shield as main weapon, restoration staff as secondary.
Ultimates are Empowering Sweep and Rememberance. Slot Defansive Posture, Deep Slash, -insert any taunt- Blazing Shield, Repentance, Breath of Life, Purifying Ritual, Channeling Focus, Rapid Regen, etc..

    Something like this would help.
/edit, just noticed you are low level^^ Still this can help. You need a dedicated healer for dungeons though. Or at least someone with off heals to help you out. It is very doable in end levels for veteran dungeons and DSA if your team avoids red cycles and such, but not sure about low levels.

I use a hybrid healer/tank and I wear 5 heavy (whitestrake) 2 light (Warlock). The good news is, you don't have to alter your setup all that much to do either.

This is pretty much standard for all Templar tanks. You can actually use both setups at the same time without having to change much, however....

I REALLY want to slap people very hard when they make these recommendations.
The Light Weaver perk makes Practiced Incantation a better ultimate for both purposes (healing and tanking), because it makes you nigh invincible for six seconds and puts out massive healing. I really don't understand why people keep recommending Remembrance when the amount of healing Practiced Incantation puts out is enough to push through almost any barrage, especially when paired with Extended or Purifying ritual and the Focused Healing perks. (Extra 30% to all class heals.)

Now I'm kind of weird when it comes to tanking: My first bar will look something like this
    1. Purifying Light (damage dealing and cheap extra healing) or Puncturing Sweep (Self healing and extra defense)
    2. Honor the Dead (yes, I don't use Breath of Life)
    3. Spiked Bone Shield, Blazing Shield, or Immovable Brute (Situationally appropriate)
    4. Extended Ritual (extra healing and ultimate building)
    5. Pierce Armor
    Practiced Incantation as Ultimate

My second bar generally looks something like this:
    1. Illustious Healing or Rapid Regeneration (Situational)
    2. Ward Ally
    3. Blessing of Restoration
    4. Extended Ritual (Yes, it's on here twice. I'd put it on here three times if I could.)
    5. Ritual of Rebirth (healing), Inner Rage (tanking), or Evil Hunter (tanking)
Practiced Incantation, Repleneshing Barrier (Situational), or Crescent Sweep. (I pvp sometimes. Empowering is OK. Either will give you the extra defense that Aedric Spear skills give you with passives.)

I place a very large emphasis on self and group healing with my build as a whole. As such, healers tend to find me easy to work with.
