Siphon tank viable for pvp?

Curently running a siphon tank/bow nightblade. Vr8. I do extremly well in pve. However is 1h-shield viable in pvp?

The hope was a ShadowKnight/wamp class now that there are no necromancers in the game.But it never happend, and it never will.

I am vet 14 - full legendary tank armor(HA), 1h/shield(I only use one hot bar)Briton(for the resist and are human(used to be vamp, but found then to weak))I am sorry to say that i am full magicka, was hoping for full health or a mix between all((Now), because i only use magicka skills(1H/S skills are to weak)).

My opinion is that that siphon skills simply are too weak for endgame pve and pvp. All its good for is grinding trash mobs.

Uhm...

Well a Sap Tank can be very hard to kill, more than any other tank. It has no root, but Fear is better anyway for cc support and with Sap Essence you can heal as well... just don't expect to deal a lot of damage that way.
So yes, as a tank it is perfectly viable. A magicka tank that is, though overall high stats, especially stamina, will help sustain because thats what Siphoning Attacks scales with.

Only question is wether it can bring more to the table than a pure stamina build that uses roll dodge instead of block and Steel Tornado instead of Sap Essence. But a Sap tank is still viable.

I run Siphon Tank in both PvE and PvP.

Currently pushing a 9900 time in vDSA.

And in PvP I am very tough to kill if I don't *** up or get feared to death. (this is even using a PvE armor and CP set up).

I don't know what @timborggrenlarsenb16_ESO is doing ..... but it works for me.....

EDIT: Also wanted to add I have been able to go into Vet Dungeons and solo the mobs and even some bosses while testing my build..... so don't know how siphon skills are too weak.
