Quick tale of my first experience...

Dived into PVP last night, first mission was scout Fort Ash, so I jumped on my horse and off I went, met some random guy on the way there, got absolutely hammered lol, one guy turned into about 5, I didn't even bother trying to pop any serums or drams, my health went down like the titanic. I found myself frozen and dead in seconds. Second attempt I nearly made it, was just starting to congratulate myelf when out of the blue, I'm off my horse and on the grass, 2 guys took me down in seconds and that was that.
Know what ? Can't wait to go back in again, I'm only level 18, and I'm probably easy pickings, I know that, but to be honest, I'm only level 18, but that is not going to stop me, going to go right back in again later on today and learn more.

Good for you. I personally would not be able to stomach it and would come back when I was v14.

In fact reminds me of an experience last week when I was on my level 31 alt and was just trying to get to some shards for skill points. A 3 man vet gank squad was camping one and killed me twice. I got so mad I reloaded onto my v14 and mercilessly destroyed those campers.

    v14 DK Costs

    v14 Temp Fiat Lux

We all need to consider how the new player experience works in Cyrodiil. We need more regular participants.

    At this point, when I see a name I don't recognize, I assume it's somebody's alt.

PVP in this game is simple, find a competent group and ride together to do things as a unit. Thats my advice.

    Dear Howko,
it seems to me you just went on the wrong way. Before you start for your enterprise, it's always good to check the map. If you see swords/enemy keeps, draw a line from your keep to the action and when you ride, try to circumvent that line. Gankers will mostly wait at the paths, of which they expect to meet travelers. Just a minority of gankers goes everywhere, consider that the typical ganker is impatient. Beside the hotpots, expect gankers at the most favored farmin-dungeons and sometimes at dolmens.
If you still feel undefended, get a restoration staff and keep spamming "Healing Ward" when your HP is dropping and (!) Immovable (heavy armor skill), this will help you vs. most opponents (until the next patch).

Meh. I put my Level 11 DK into a vet campaign the other night and wound up with a 3 to 1 KDR...was a blast.

I don't really think the Battle Level disparity is all that bad.
