Hey I'm new to the elder scrolls series loving this one tho! Currently level 29 dunmer dragon knight using a destruction staff about 19 magicka and 9 health wondering if it's a better route to go dual weild and start adding stamina ? Right now I'm like a squishy fire mage can I turn this guy unto a tank or even a good hp fire mage? What do you guys think is better to do all magicka or stamina... dual weird or 2 hand sword or staff ? Please I would love input from a knowledgeable veteran. Thanks!

Well since you chose the Dragonknight class it's probably better to go the tank route since the abilities you unlock will be more suited for that class. If you decide to go that route then you will want to focus primarily on health and stamina.
Someone probably has better advice than me.

One of the best things about this game is that you can play however you'd like and still be successful.

The idea of "better" doesn't really exist unless you're min/maxing your hero for trials or end game pvp which is something you don't need to worry about just yet, or for a very long time really since you are only level 29. It might be wise, if you are planning to play competitively one day, to make sure you level up all of your class skills to where you can morph them (lvl4). Also, don't do veteran pvp until you have practiced a lot in the non-vet campaign or you will hate it and never want to go back.

As far as questing and grouping goes nothing is required or really considered better. I have joined countless groups while leveling up to clear delves/dungeons and have not once been asked to play a specific role or been denied a spot because I didn't have the "right" build. Mostly this is because solo and small scale group content is quite easy pre-vet levels (and not that tough post-vet either).

The "play as you like" mantra of ESO is real. So if you want to start adding stamina to your Dunmer to become more tanky then go right ahead, if you want to respec and do all stamina go right ahead and just focus on stamina based skills. If you like your fire mage then focus more on magicka based skills and damage shields. If you want to mix and match stamina / magicka spells and be a fire battlemage then distribute your stats more evenly and enjoy.

I've played 3 heros so far. A purely magicka based NB, a purely stamina based DK, and a hybrid Sorc. Each has strengths and weaknesses but all have proven capable in both solo and group content. I think my Battlemage (hybrid sorc) is the most fun to play so I've leveled him the most and he wrecks content.

So just enjoy the game. Learn/use all the skills so you can make a build that best fits your play style and have fun.

    For the Covenant!
    Svvord - magicka NB
    Lavv - magicka DK
    Povver - stamina NB
    Psylint - stamina NB
    Yelruc - magicka Sorc
