Currently level 25 finished the main quest waiting till 30 to do the next one... I hate the mini quests running here n there across the map is there a good place to grind the 5 levels out?

By missing out on the main quests through a zone you are missing out on skill points, so I would advise following that through at least. If you do not want to explore and find the other side quests that won't harm your progress but those main quests are helpful.

Completing the quests will level you up way faster than grinding.

If people hate doing quests, yet they also hate to grind, why the heck do they play the game at all? :)

I agree with you on that. And this goes with other games like this ESO. But I think you can kind of guess what games im on about lol.

You should do every quest you can some reward you with skill points.

Plus you want to explore an entire map before leaving for:
    Delves: loots and sky shards
    Skyshards: skill points
public dungeons: good loot and sky shards
    resourse nodes
    dolmens: Achievement plus loot
the list goes on and on

If you try to just do the main quests you will become a very weak player.

You're gonna love VR levels lol...... .....

Yeah you don't want to miss out on the main zone quests - they're half of the story.

There are essentially two parts to the "Main" quest in ESO:
    1. The part that is specifically called the "Main Story", which you get every 5 levels (at Level 5/10/15 etc) from the Prophet in the Harborage;
    2. The part that is the main storyline for your alliance, called the "Alliance Story", which takes place in the Alliance Zones. These are chained together one after the other.
It is hard to tell in-game whether a quest is part of the zone's Alliance Story or if it is a Side Quest in that zone, as they are both just listed under the zone name.

When you reach Level 43, the Main Story and Alliance Story join together to lead you through the final levelling zone.
