Start again or carry on?

So i rolled a redguard deathknight, started along stam/tank route then started messing about with destro staff which was much more fun, question is do i choose another race ie a magicka based one and start again or continue. I am only level 8 so not far in. Any advice?

If you haven't used up all your character slots I would say keep your current character as a mule for now but re roll as a dunmer, altmer or breton.
Dunmer Make the DK on board fire skills hurt more than the other races, but the rest of your skills would be unaffected.
Altmer and Breton will increase your skill potency all around, but those for skills won't hit as hard as they could.

Reroll if you want to go magicka. Level 8 is nothing. And yes pick a magicka based race then like dunmer, altmer

You can also do fine as a Redguard Magicka DK. Dk's make great tanks for end game so you could go Destruction route with them and switch over to Tank later.

You can really be effective with any race/class in the game. I've got an Orc Templar that's great at Tanking, DPS and Healing.

Just to clarify if you want full on magicka dps you'll consider dunmer. If you plan to remain hybrid, any race will work including red guard. But you're so early in the game that now is the time if at all
