Best healer?

I'm a pc transfer to ps4, restarting with a new character to play with some friends that are new to eso.

On pc I had a templar healer, and they have the most obvious benefits for the role, but I've been out of the game since pre-f2p and am not current on ability changes and such.

Any input from sorc/nightblade/dk healers? How do your characters fare for both group healing and for solo leveling? Input from templar healers also appreciated.

I healed everything with my DK and my sorc. EVERYTHING. ALL THE THINGS.

its not about the class its about the player. I have buddies that outheal templars on their stam nightblades.

All classes can heal. Pick the one that you like the best and go with it.

Any. NB gives you interesting combinations of lifesap and heal.

pvp - templar
pve - all are capable to heal through every content

while i agree you can heal all things with any class, templar is still the easiest to heal with. i just have to work a bit harder on my DK to heal than i would with my templar. breath of life (templar insta heal) makes things so much easier.

In what way?

It will passively increase healing done by simply slotting it...

I mean will it give you the 15% magicka/stamina return when you cast heals, or only on attacks?

Strikes will only proc off light/heavies. Attacks will proc off any damaging ability, but not heals as far as I've seen... Though you can use it as funnel health damages as does refreshing path.

Templar or Nightblade.

An excellent player can make the other classes work, but they bring a lot less to the table.

Templar for a classic healing, but I prefer NB for a good dps at the same time.
At a point, breath of life is almost useless when you can heal a lot with hot (funnel heal, healing springs, mutagen, refreshing path…) , and I love the idea of a stealing-life healer (especially a vampire).
