Dual Wield Sustain - looking for advice

I'm wanting to build a dual wield character (prefer dark elf) that can have sustain. I've browsed siphoning and assassin builds and a some from the dragon knight setups. I don't think going Templar for self heals is viable. Any advice is much appreciated.

Didn't say whether it was for pve or pvp. If pvp, DW on DK will be rough unless your offhand wep is sword and board or 2H, otherwise you lack a gap closer. If pve, gap closer doesn't matter as much.

I find DW to be kind of expensive skill wise (my NB is either using surprise attack or flying blade as the main dps) so running drinks in pve is really helpful if you don't have enough regen - they're actually not crappy any more.

I can't find a build that utilizes siphoning attacks and can still function as dps, which is what DW is intended for. It sounds nice on paper, but the numbers aren't there.

i think a NB would be your best option. they have passives in the NB skill tree that help boost your dps (crit% passive and another passive that boosts crit % per assassination ability equipped). they also have some active abilities that help stamina regen and i take the whirling blades morph in DW tree to help that further.

i read up on some builds on deltia's gaming and used their template of all points in stamina and using surprise attack as my main single target damage dealer. read up "light weaving" if you are not aware of what that is. it's basically hitting a light attack between your skills. ie. surprise attack->quickly tap light attack->quickly hit surprise attack again

my v3 NB is a wood elf (stamina regen racial) who is a werewolf (also has a stamina regen passive) and have champion points in stamina regen. with full medium equipped, i've yet to run out of stamina in a boss fight.

I run DW on my Vamp Khajiit Nb, don't ever really have any stamina issues, even with rolling all over to avoid fire in pve. Pvp is fine too cuz I either win in like 3-5 shots or die lol.
