Skills VS Skill Points

As I understand it, it is possible to earn enough skill points to unlock all skills. Is this correct.

If so, what are your thoughts on that?

Personally, I would prefer us to have quite a few more skills than skillpoints. That way we have specifically choose what we want to specialize in. I actually disagree with the concept of us being able to unlock every single skill.

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
That's right... Horse.

Well, technically you can't every EVERY skill because they morph and you can only choose one. Although I'm not sure on the skill points needed.. would you also include crafting skill points?

Now I'm wondering if you can...

I guess I'm including the morphs in this question. So a skill that morphs can consume a total of 2 skill points. The unlock + the morph.

No you cant if you want all crafting skills too.
I agree...though. It should be a limited choice per character to ensure diversity.

I guess ZOS feels diversity should be left to the players and everything will be wonderful in the end

No, there aren't enough skill points to unlock everything, but there's still more than enough to have a very flexible build + some crafting. I don't remember the exact numbers, but there are about 470 skills to spend points on and about 320 points available.

there are 335-340 Skill Points available. Req that you hit rank 50 in PVP and this will take mutch time.

with emp and ww or Vamp its about 500 if i made my Count right

    I highly... HIGHLY doubt it.
A normal player would need around 495 Skill points to max every tree.
Personally, i have 256 skill points, with only Cadwell's Gold + Craglorn left to do (quest wise).
In upper craglorn i have a few more skyshards, and some dungeons, as well as 1 more level to do, so at best i expect that i won't go over 300 skill points. after a finish everything.

If you don't craft than you won't have any problems. If you plan on crafting your own equipment (like i do) prepare for a very thought-out build with few alternative options.

283 on my main missing only 42 from PvP ranks. That should be 325 in total. This number may change with new DLC areas. Also 1-2 points might be missing due to early public dungeon bugs.

Another alt is just above 250 points but that's just by cleaning up normal and Cadwell maps. Excludes Craglorn, Cyrodiil and PvP. That is enough to max all class, weapon and armor skills, plus most guild skills.
