Their sprint passive also makes the spear charge hit 6% harder from the Templar skill line (as well as the 2hander and Sword and shield charge). Templar is also the only class that can charge with a Dual Wield setup (unless you are swapping weapons to charge then attack with something else). If you want to heal as an Orc it can certainly be done.
If you are trying to minmax Orc might not be the best pick for healing, but its going to function fine as a healer with the right gear and attribute choices, so if you want to play an Orc I say do it.

The extra charge damage is nice but were orc's really shine is the sprint bonus. I know you might be thinking lol run faster. However, at later levels, that sprint bonus can function as a decent gap closer (for me its dropping crit charge and adding a diff skill for whatever the moment). Granted there is no damage to the idea of 'gap closer' like true skills but you free up a slot. For pve I slot (some reason drawing blank) the armor skill from draconic power line and become nigh indestrucible in medium armor. So my first bar looks like armor, fiery breath, brawler, uppercut, rally(or green dragon blood) then ult standard. As a templar Im sure there is some variation.
Also with the sprint bonus and certain increase speed item sets you can run down people on horses who havent dumped into speed.
I take it Redguard could do more damage but Imperials would live longer?
Choose the race that you love the most, there is nothing wrong you can do with picking one of those two.
And know that everyone starts as a noob, but end like a pro. (Or left the game)
If I choose Imperial over Redguard would I need to put more attribute points into stamina to make up for what im lacking for not choosing redguard? OR would it be easier to choose redguard and put more attribute points into health?
Im definitely over thinking it here I think xD

The choice is very hard... I can never Decide what to have for breakfast never mind this! haha I kinda am leaning towards Imperial as health is always good. and I plan on being a werewolf so that stamina regen should help with what Id be missing out on with redguard

So there's another thing to think about. Your pools help increase damage, but regen is always useful.

So that's an interesting point you make, but unless they've fundamentally changed the way the skill works you're wrong. I actually thought of this when the game first started, which is why my Orc Nightblade was made. I was wrong in assuming that ambush was a 'charge' attack. An assumption which was very logical to me at the time. After looking at the numbers though I realized I was getting nothing different. I sent some tickets to ZoS who informed me that Ambush and its morphs were not charges for the purpose of the Orc passive. Nightblades can however charge in utilizing ambush, but an Orc using Ambush will not get the bonus charge damage on ambush. I hope that clarifies what I was saying.
