Is it worth going for mixed gear type? Meds, light and heavy just for passives?

Hello,

Im a pure health tank, high elf. I wear full set of heavy armor and 1h+shield. Have all passives from Heavy armor that give me some perks for one or more heavy armors equpped and one of them works when 5 pieces or more equipped.

Now i wonder if its worth instead of wearing 7 pieces of heavy armor only 5 pieces of heavy armor and add to that 1 medium and 1 light for passives.

With 1 medium armor i would gain some crit rate, stamina recovery and reduce cost of stamina abilities, cheaper sneaking and smaller detection area, and faster movement and less cost for roll

With 1 light armor i would get reduced spell cost, mana regen, spell resist.

I have enough skill points to max out all light and med passives

Also would gain 3% bonus for undaunted mettle

Almost all the tank use 5 heavy, one medium and one light just for that. +4% stats for undauted passives (for wearing medium and light) is very good, and the regen bonus and diminishing cost are both very useful.

The additional passives from the skill trees are not that important. What IS important is the 4% inc to all primary stats from undaunted mettle, plus the regen there is nice too. That's a 4% increase to whatever your max is at that time, not the base....so you end up with like 1k more max for whatever your main resource is.

Make sure your 1 light piece is the waist. That is the smallest armor piece with the least armor/resist diff between light and heavy. I think hands are next smallest, so make that your 1 medium piece. That will allow you to sacrifice the minimum amount of basic armor/resist while still getting that +6% Undaunted Mettle bonus to your attributes.
