Small information about Force Pulse

Greetings,

I want to tell you something about the Force Pulse Morph for Force Shock.

You know it sends out a pulse, that damages up to 2 nearby enemies, that are affected by an elemental effect.
Not only that force pulse deals 10% more damage than force shock (I know,it's nothing) The pulse will go back to the target. Which means, as long as 1 nearby enemy gets hit by the pulse, the pulse will go back to the target, dealing over 2000 additional damage.

So this means, Force shock deals around 4500 damage, and force pulse around 7000 damage, as long as there is an enemy nearby. I thought, this is interesting, as it makes force pulse the superior choice for damage. There are many situations in dungeons, where this is beneficial and also against some bosses.

Focus all the elemental energies with your staff and blast an enemy for 1500 Fire Damage, 1500 Cold Damage, and 1500 Shock Damage. The blast also has a 40% chance of afflicting the enemy with Chilled, Burning, and Concussion status effects.

Up to 2 nearby enemies will take 1860 Magic Damage if they were already afflicted with Burning, Chilled, or Concussed status effects.

The 2 nearby enemies take the extra 1860 damage but only if they're already afflicted with elemental effect status.
So the max damage in this case is 3*1500 + 2*1860 = 8220 damage, while attacking non-blocking enemies without spell resistance.

Usually the DKs in the group will apply DOTs almost 100% which inflicts the burning status and increases Force Pulse damage but not by 2*1860=3720 damage per cast, in my experience (Altmer sorc) dps is increased around 1-1,5k so its still worth getting for pve dps.

It's def the better morph now.

It's bested by the DK Flame lash but in situations where I need to ranged, force pulse ftw

This is what the tooltip says, right. But I'm actually using Force pulse and can tell you, that the pulse will go back to the target. :)

The pulse goes back every time or only when the target has a status effect?

Ive tested Force Pulse for a while and its boosted my pve dps quite a bit (to max 14k single target dps) but I personally prefer Crushing Shock because I mainly do pvp nowadays.
