Just my imagination or is CC break slower now?

especially when getting knocked up by a dragon leap or something like that, i feel i can no longer do the cc break until i land. or after a second or so of any stun compared to the normal instant break

    Break Free needs to break all animations. Some of them (e.g., fear) seem to have a higher priority than break free, which makes them a real pain in the elf.

    It may look longer maybe because the time to kill a defensive-less target is shorter. How many targets do get killed during the CC break window or shortly after that?

    That's pretty much it. Break free is ridiculous how buggy/unresponsive it is. Then again most of the "PvP" is ridiculous in its current state largely due to how quickly one can die-- DPS potential in PvP is just way too high vs our health pools.



    Disabling the grass may improve performance.

    Its definitely slower. In 1.6 they added a delay between cc and break free, whether or not it was intentional I dont know, but it's absolutely terrible either way.

    Breakfree is it's own 1 second CC. Yeah you can get hit with another wrecking blow before you break free of the first one. That's at least 20k health right there, if not more. 1.6 is so freaking broken and it just doesn't stop.

    The speed of combat was increased in 1.6 imo, though the break free animation was not sped up or changed in anyway since launch. Survivability was just better pre 1.6 that you really didn't notice how slow it was actually working because you could recover from it. Now cc break animation is too slow for the speed of combat and ttk, and it also can you to cc break. It is in sore need of a rework imo.

    Example, your running with Eclipse cast on you, you cc break and the cc break animation makes you stop moving for 1 second for the animation. Imo, it should be instant, should not stop you, and should not eat up a global Cooldown for your next skill. You should be able to right on fighting if your fast enough.

    Yeah break free is soooo slow and very inconsistent. Time to take a break from this game. Maybe after console release... maybe after Imperial City... Maybe, just maybe, then they will focus on PVP.

    A lot of animations are slower now, probably a ninja attempt to relieve a bit of lag. Break Free, Igneous Shield, Scales, Regeneration, all have slower animations, just to name a few.

    Disagree, just the global Cooldown has been reduced. Look at how fast you can do light attacks and bashes now. But the speed of animations were not sped up making them seem slower, but they are the same speed.

    I guess I shouldn't have said "slower", should've said some of the recently revised animations for 2.0 seem like they are a bit longer than the 1.5 animations.

    breaking free from eclipse is as broken as those two - but the number of magical range classes is so low no one realises their uproar :'(
