Nightblade Stamina Build Help?

ScratchMatch
I recently got the game and I am at level 15 right now, I'm trying to go for a dual wield Nightblade which focuses on doing tons of dps damage along with WW too. What skills should I take (please make sure it has some Nightblade class skills and dual wield) and also what attributes I should take.

There are so many stamina builds for nightblades out there right now that are good.
Why not do a search on the forums first? I'm sure you will find something that might interest you.

The worst thing you can do to yourself at level 15 is to lock into a build. Instead you should work through all class skills and major weapons. You can't reach any good build before mid veteran levels. It is better to postpone the decision and concentrate more to leveling up the class. You need to do it anyway. This is like marriage. You can dream about a spouse but don't worry about it until adulthood. There is some schoolwork before it.

Start e.g. with bow at level three. Level it up until you have Scatter Shot and Arrow Spray available and use them. First is single target and second is for AoE. Morph them to Magnum Shot and Bombard. Put on any medium armor but have heavy chest and light belt or hands. From now on you should be ok by just shooting everything with Bombard and Magnum for bosses. The three other slots in bar are unused. Put one skill from the three class skill branches there. When the skill beomes morphable, switch to next one.

At level 15, as you are now, put your second weapon, e.g. dual wield there. Put first skill and second as soon as it opens there and agin three class skills. Every time you return a quest, switch to the second bar. When you return a quest you get lots of XP and it quickly levels up your skills. Switch back to bow afterwards

You can slowly start using more slots on bow for actual fighting. Now you have more class skills avilable and you should start to try them out. The second bar is still purely for leveling up skills. If some skill is looking good, pick a morph and level it up completely. General advise: Buy stamina glyphs into you armor. Use stamina potions liberally. When you level up, put one point to heath and two next to stamina. Get some stamina regen drinks.

When bow skill is beyond forty, move dual wield as your main weapon. Now it is already powerful and you can pick some good skills and morph them. Take e.g. resto staff as second. Again open first two skills and rest from class and guilds, level them up with quest returning, remember to switch skills when they reach morphable level and keep going.

Continue similarly with 2H and sword&board. All this continues to about VR10. *Then* you can start thinking about builds. The difference is that now you actually have some choice, the skills opened, all three armors at 50 and you didn't gimp yourself at level 15 to a single build.

What if I want to primarily focus on melee only and not long-ranged weapons?

You can do that. There are enough other abilities you can toss in. Right now I'm running 2hander and Dual wield, my 2 hander is my buff stick for Rally etc. And my main dps is off my Dual Wield bar. I also have Silver Shards on the 2 hand bar and Hidden Blade or whatever the dagger throw ability is off Dual Wield for ranged. If you're just starting though, you're probably going to want bow for a bit. In pve, it will be hard to do a lot of dungeons without bow for ranged dps. And for pvp, you're going to be basically running around like you're naked as a Stamina build, until VR14, and you're geared up, along with knowing how to dodge roll. Even then, you'll still get gibbed constantly.

Biggest advice I'll give? You'll need 2hander with rally as at least 1 bar. As a stamina nb, for self heals... that's all you really have.

Do not focus yet, that's the point. E.g. considering bow, you WILL need ranged attacks. Bow is good starter weapon. It will be less useful later but you can't dismiss it completely. Before you can make any real build you need to max your class levels and have a good set of skills opened from multiple weapons. Leveling up different skills is best to do during leveling. Don't waste the unique opportunity you have now.

If you think about focusing, it may be you think doing dungeons in group. For them it is completely ok to build. But when you are leveling, i recommend you forget the builds until you have enough levels and skills. I have two VR14 nightblades and i am still leveling some skills.
