Well you'd think so but the player in question was reported several times by multiple people in game and the guy got a name change instead of a ban... so I won't hold my breath!

What matters is PvE, that's where the money is made. PvP is just a bunch of people constantly complaining about everything and never being happy with the high quality experience they get out of it every single day.

ye well, with this lag we all forced to split between campaigns in the evening:| thorn still be #1 lag station ever, but is also the most 24/7 active campaign. i really hope in a *** fix:/ in the meanwhile BAN THIS HACKER tnx:)

Your first point sounds something like a conspiracy theory :P. Your second point is very obviously correct. Like I said, it's a smack in the face to every PvPer that this guy has been allowed to get away with this.

Read through the whole thread, but somehow I missed the PROOF that this guy intentionally exploited. Even if he got a zillion AP by stumbling onto some bug or glitch, what is he supposed to do about it? Return the AP? HOW?

It's hilarious and sad that PvP players are so quick to form a lynch mob any time something happens they don't like and can't explain. The icing on the cake is that the fact that "no one knows this guy" somehow makes him guiltier. LOL, really?

I think you're missing the point.

Firstly, there is no possible way that he could have gained that AP legitimately.

Secondly, if this is a bug (which seems unlikely based on the explanation that he has offered) then it's still unfair that he has been given such a huge advantage over other players. We aren't forming a lynch mob but it is only fair that this matter is sorted.

If a "bug" occurred that caused a group to get to #1 on the trial leaderboards, I guess people would be annoyed. The same principle applies here - people who have worked hard to achieve that rank, or who are working hard to achieve that rank, are obviously frustrated that either through an exploit or a bug this person has simply walked into it.

The point about "no one knowing him" is extremely relevant because pvpers know each other and high ranked players are known. For him to gain a high rank without anyone ever seeing him seems suspicious, hence why this is relevant.

Finally, if this guy did knowingly exploit a bug to gain the AP then it is only fair he should be banned. If he didn't exploit it then the AP should be removed - something I am sure ZOS could do. That's would be a fair and legitimate course of action.

If he did not exploit anything, he still has 18 million AP too much.

With a screenshot to proove this has actually happened, I think the community is entitled to know what happened there. It's not about who did it, since that person is not named and hence not shamed, but more about the mere fact that it could happen.

AP ratio of 12 960 000 000 AP/hour, I still can't even fathom the concept. Oo

I didn't even think about all the gold they will make off of this AP. Just another reason it should be sorted. But of course still no reply from @ZOS_GinaBruno, @ZOS_BrianWheeler or @ZOS_JessicaFolsom... There's a surprise!

Let the hackers/esploiters/cheaters play and the real players leave, always worth it !!!!right?

I was never really expecting a response because ZOS evidently don't give a damn. Nonetheless I think it's important the thread stays alive so that people actually realise how sidelined PvP is in this game at the moment.

Like I said earlier in this thread, if someone got to #1 in the trial LB by exploiting the rage would be real and ZOS would be on that faster than you could say "cheater". PvP related exploit? Ah ignore it, we'll fix it in some months.

This isn't really the same thing. What you're talking about is legitimate AP farming.

Its probably one of the US players playing on the EU servers. Not sure what else you expected.
