it's interesting set with 5 - piece bonus. (with %3 chance, gives mini-bubble around 3k for heal ticks). Actually, i'm not sure about "ticks". Because i tested this set with my healer yesterday, and the result was very big disappointment for me.
When i noticed this set first time, i was so excited. I'm good and experienced healer with HoT's. So, i thought about that : "this could be interesting build for similar healers".
is that true? Barrier style healing can be possible? Prayer Shawl can be "healer's valkyn"?
Nah.. First of all, heal ticks didn't activate bubbles enough. May be problem is here. Because with my style, 4-5 heal ticks can proc on an ally in 1 second. in the "standart group" test, "average bubble activating time" was 8-10 second intervals for per player. I know, %3 isn't a big chance, but 10 seconds means 40-50 heal tick for every player. Math says, there is a chance more than valkyn's has (number of ticks / % chance). But result is, less bubbles than meteors.
it's acceptable, but a new big surprise will come after that: Bubbles disappeared in seconds. (No no, not destroyed). Tooltip says "nothing" about it.
There is a second heartbreaker: These bubbles can't proc or stack.
Plus, Damage absorb bonuses in champion system doesn't affect bubble amount of set bonus.
in short,
magicka regen, spell damage and max magicka are very good bonuses, but set is useless at the moment because of these reasons. in the future, If developers gives a chance to this set, very very interesting and funny healing styles can be born.
