Imperial Stamina Nightblade

Just wondering if I could get some help with my vet 1 Imperial Vampire DPS Nightblade. Any recomendations on skills, attributes ect, from those more experienced would be awesome. I would like to be successful in bot pvp and pve, and would also like to use Dual Wield and Bow.

I am also willing to drop vampire if need be, though I'd rather not

LEARN ME!!!!

    For PvE:
Being a vampire makes many dungeons harder than they are (and the healers might hate you), but it is possible.
Attribute points should mostly be spend in stamina. Your gear should focus on weapon damage. 5xHundings rage + 3xAshen grip are good crafted armour sets to start with untill you get better dropped gear.
In pure melee fights my skillbar lookes like this, if I need to stay away from the boss I use this.

For PvP it's hard to recomend anything as long as I don't know how you want to fight. In general your stamina regeneration will be much more important than in PvE, so you should get gear to imporve it.
My skillbar usually looks something like this, but I often change some skills depending on the situation (am I defending or attacking, who is in my group, do I know the enemies I'm going to face, ...). I'm no vampire, so you would probably use batswarm instead of soul tether.

I just leveled an alt, imperial vamp stamina NB to VR14. My main is NB mage. While vampire is ok for leveling i cured it and switched to WW. Sorry i won't give any cookie cutter build but encourage to learn first hand all relevant weapons and skills. Stamina NB is such a powerpack that it can do many different builds successfully. Veteran leveling is a great time for experiments.

    - I leveled from lvl4 to VR14 with same gear: 5 Hunding's Rage, 3 or 4 Ashen Grip. 5 medium (one exploration, one divines and rest infused.), 1 Heavy chest training, 1 light belt training. After heavy and light armor got to 50 i dropped training. Stamina glyphs on armor and cost reduction glyphs on jewelry. It doesn't matter what weapon you use.
    - Put all attributes on stamina unless you start to die easily. Then put some points to health.
    - Don't specialize yet. Learn every class skill and several different weapons. I learned every weapon to 50 except destro staff. Keep replacing skills on bars and move to next weapon when previous got fully learned. E.g. i leveled half of vet level mostly using s&b and reverbating bash was main damage skill. Stupid build but good for learning. When leveling up all skills you will learn e.g. the difference between Power Extraction, Steel Tornado, Brawler and arrow spray. Later this knowledge helps to make good builds.
    - Don't fall to the usual sneaky NB trap, where you bypass enemies. Kill everything. Twice the better. For veteran levels XP becomes important.
    - I suggest you do some grinding. It is best way to learn resource management and to see how far you can push yourself. Structured Entropy or Degeneration is your friend. When fighting bigger packs, tag most of them with Entropy and you get good healing which scales up with the size of mob packs. Rally from 2h is best burst heal.
    - Siphoning Attacks make stamina last forever.
    - Double Take gives mitigation and with the speed buff you can make some distance to difficult bosses for a quick heal, before diving back into the fight.

Thanks for the info guys. Guess I have a lot to work on leveling. Yeah no need for cookie cutter builds, just help being successful, as it has been difficult when heading into high end pve and pvp.

What morphs are generally considered better for Batswarm, strife, and summon shade?

also death stroke or incapacitating strike?

as long as you keep mirage and rally up, anything else you do is just icing on the cake. have yet to find an overworld vet boss i can't solo on my stamina nb thanks to these two abilities.

Soul harvest is usually better as it helps to generate ultimate faster.
I prefer Shadow Image as it grants some mobiliy, but there are also good reasons to take the other morph.
You shouldn't use strife if you are a stamina based nb. For a magicka nb I'd recommend funnel health.

Shweet. Makes sense. I didn't realize mirage is so powerful.

It seems like Incapacitating would be better only for utility, since ultimate is so cheap on that ability.
