Why is there no information on the duration of some buffs, like for major prophecy?

Major prophecy gives you 10% more spell crit. This is as it stands in my templar's class skill descriptions for one Dawn's Wratch spell "Vampires Bane".
I can not see whether the buff counts just for the next spell, for the spell itself or for a given amount of time?

Again, they said they wanted to make the "system" more clear and still there are skill descriptions that leave many questions open.

Any link for detailed skill information? WHat with the other buffs? :smiley:
I know that many skills include a buff duration in the spell description, this one does not.. :neutral:

Minor Resolve: Small increase to physical resistance.
Major Resolve: Larger increase to physical resistance.

Reduce Armor debuffs
Minor Fracture: Small decrease to target’s physical resistance.
Major Fracture: Larger decrease to the target’s physical resistance.

Spell Resistance buffs
Minor Ward: Small increase to spell resist.
Major Ward: Larger increase to spell resist.

Reduce Spell Resistance debuffs
Minor Breach: Small decrease to target’s spell resist.
Major Breach: Larger decrease to target’s spell resist.

    I came here looking for the same thing as the OP: definitive answer to how long Major Prophecy lasts when you use Sun Fire or its morphs.

    In my experience, S'rendarr only displays the duration of the damage-over-time, but there's nothing to indicate how long the Major Prophecy lasts. Unless there's a non-default setting value I need to toggle to show the buff.

    Without addons game would not be playable. If they dont want to destroy immersion for some ppl, they could at least add an enhanced UI for players that want numbers and not "nothing"

    Thanks, @Cinbri , I didn't see your other post in my search. So I may better understand how to find these answers myself, how did you determine the buff was still applying after the six seconds and after the target's death?

    Not all actually.

    It's a limitation of the current API.

    I'm very partial to an addon called omnistats. It gives you a very small HUD you can place on your UI that basically displays your character panel numbers. The benefit is you can see how the numbers are changing through the fight and it takes the guesswork out of figuring out when major sorcery is down from using entropy, for instance. I can just see the number is 2600 instead of 3100.

    Long and boring tests as i don't believe to ui that bugging sometimes. Don't know did zos fixed bug or not, i tested it right after 1.6 release. Glad at least someone interesting in mats instead of whining.
