Sorcerers are Oh-P
At least that's what some PM me
They die from a sorc and so they say
This class is OH-P, there is no other way
They roll dodge for miles, yet they still just can't see
That believe it or not sorcs are not Oh-P
We play as a sorc, being invincible and all
But to all other classes we stand far too tall
We solo wipe pugs, using little to no skill
As a sorc we use one button, on it says "kill"
We bolt away like a lightning bolt gone mad
But as soon as we do it, other players see us as bad
We hit far too hard with our crystal frag procs
Well truth is they move slow and can be seen as large purple rocks
We have no counter as some seem to think
As in bad situations we "blink,blink,blink"
As a sorc I can say I have no skill
To all other classes I should be a free kill
This forum has become just one simple phrase
It's a waste of our time arguing for days
As soon as players die its nerf this nerf that
"I got killed by a sorc, when I died I went splat"

Man sorc now even write poems to prove they are not OP.
Sorc are much worse then Dks ever been.
You are OP so have fun, if it takes as long for ZOS to change it as Dk Opness youll having a lot of time alone on top.
But to deny it is just embarrassing.
I admitted Temps were OP on Pts patch 1.6.0 till 1.6.1.
Was fun the short time it lasted.

Why do people not get the criticism at all?
I don't recall seeing a single complaint that sorcs were easy mode and required no skill.
In fact, the typical cookie cutter build may actually be on of the harder typical builds to play somewhat successfully.

The problem is, that IF sorcs play their part perfectly, many (most) builds are left helpless. Playing their part perfectly as well, doesn't help anymore. Very few classes/builds have the possibility to pressure them continously while still surviving themselves.

if i 1v1 kill a decent sorc on my templar (90% of players walking around in cyrodiil get killed by anything, not counting them), i can instantly name the things the sorc did wrong (usually not recasting skills properly or using obvious projectiles i can dodge and/or reflect at will). Very rarely, I get some lucky reflects that may have been very hard to avoid for the sorc - due to lag, etc. Usually, I'd count it as a success if I don't die over 5min and annoy the sorc enough so that he ports away and continues killing some low rank people instead.

Even for the short time I ran stamina and if i sometimes had the upper hand, sorcs were more than often able to blink out of critrushes and to wherever they had an advantage (their own zerg / a keep / whatever).

Nobody is saying those sorcs don't have to play well. In fact, it's easy to see how well they do given how bad sorcs are free kills to any half-decent player. It is still frustrating as hell to have a class that IF played perfectly is almost unbeatable. Fighting really good NBs without detection pots can be incredibly hard as well - but at least there are detection pots. Plus you can get them with well-placed (or lucky) AoEs. Imho luck can help you beat a great, great NB. Not even luck (unless you count something like the other player's game crashing xD) can help you against a perfectly played sorc.

A lot of people do not realize the degree of cautiousness sorcs have to play with. One bad cc and we're dead in hiccup. My templar and dk don't deal with such razor sharp error margins. Sorcs are strong, but are persisntantly getting weaker. Non-stop rolly polly is quickly becoming the predominant meta and it hits sorcs harder than any class.

I take no sides in nerf debates, and have a geared VR14 sorc and geared VR14 NB. However, to say sorcs are hard to play and unforgiving of mistakes is disingenuous, at best...

Sorcs die very easily and also destroy enemies very easily and they are very easy to see(flashing lightning balls and all sorts of Christmas lights). Flashy lights might look cool to some people but they are actually a hindrance in PVP, sure they can use a stealth pot if needed like anyone and most do. As it stands, the trade off for being so easy to see is having quite a lot of CC abilities where as nightblades have a lot of raw dps and can stealth(i lose 50% of NB's to this and they are my prime murderer by a long way). Lastly, why is nobody addressing the massive elephant standing in the room? Stam classes can roll dodge as far, if not further than a sorc can bolt...

There's your answer ESO'ers, now can we stop the OP sorc whine please

Just wrong... and don`t stop whining. It took 1 Year to put Dks on par, please not another Year with a OP class.
And imo Sorcs are even more annoying the 1.5. Dk at least in Forums....

This game needs more than a few tweaks.. We need some devs that know what they are doing. So many skills in this game are just broken from a design stand point. Damage is so high now I'm not even sure "player skill" matters all that much these days.

in mmo's all classes, no matter the system the devs implement, are going to be strong in some areas and weak in others, some builds will work, some wont.

Even knowing eso doesnt use the traditional class systems, the groundwork is still the same, mage, fighter, rouge, healer.

no matter the class you use, your going to be one of those 4 arch-types, and those arch-types have strengths and weaknesses, and they can sometimes be overcome by a skilled gamer.

Get over it, the op and nerf calling is getting irritating

Templars were only "op" because of the Radiant Destruction bug (execute dmg tick happening at 50% hp)

As a Sorc i agree, thats one of the reasons I like playing it, i have t be moving constantly unlike DK where i just stand still and block-cast all day. Gets boring.
