So...last night a buddy and i came across a top player on thornblade, I don't wanna say his name cause of rules but...the dude was a prick, blocking me off the bat, and unblocking me to whisper me how much of a useless player he thought I was. (lol even though he couldn't kill me =D) then blocking me again so I couldn't respond...just...a tool. Anyway on to the topic! So I noticed that the dude had a maintained a permanent block, a permanent reflect, and almost permanent stun immune. I'll admit, the dude WAS GOOD, but couldn't break my extreme survivability (not many can) =D. But non of my ultimate's touched him, meteor reflected back to me everytime. So I'm curious for opinions on what ultimates would be best to provide. My build is that of a high regen, heavy armor healer tank in pvp, it would be nice to be able to actually damage someone even a tiny bit with an ult. But I want to be able to get around the reflect. I was thinking about using solar prison, but he was smart and woulda rolled out of it. So maybe not, can soul assault be reflected? Or empowering sweeps? Maybe I should just slot rememberence? Or the horn skill? Something to boost the damage of my buddies who. I roll with? Thanks for the help.

Oh by the way me and my bud DID infact kill him, but it took him a good long while to die. My heals were the only reason we survived, and my puncturing sweep burst method in the end I found out was GREAT for making him loose his stamina. We figured him out...took us almost ten minutes continuous to kill him though

Your issue is not the ultimate. An ultimate is not an insta win button you should not worry about using ultimates on single players. Its a complete waste. You need to be able to dish out enough DPS to get his stamina down which is easily done. Use caltrops on the ground ensnaring this player and just spam biting jabs, purifying light, throw a shards down every 3 or so seconds and keep at it. If he is as tanking as you say go one step further and go for the annoying build and use constant snares on him like trapping webs. Don't use ranged single target abilities because as you said they just get reflected. Keep theg ground effects on him and never stop hitting him. He will run out of stam and you can then get the knock down. Dont try and 'smash' this player and burn your self down. Work him down slowly if your in a position too. Even for extra healing debuff use dark flare. This will be reflected back at you but the debuff still applies to the enemy. make sure you do all this while constantly keeping blazing shield up! Extra damage.

In regards to reflecting projectiles, if you slot a reflect you can reflect the reflected projectile. They can only be reflected twice.

In short if everyone uses reflect, it's as if no one is using reflect.

And for Meteor (it may be like this for other projectiles too) the re-reflected Meteor is invisible due to some weird glitch.

Um...IM the tank and run with a dps bud. I heal him up and for the first ten seconds make him think I'm a dps freak so he attacks me, then my bud pops out stealth and grabs him...the he realizes I'm not a dps threat so he attacks my bud, the he realizes I AM a threat cause I can effectively heal my bud...its a funny game of back and forth...i would just like to be able to use a ultimate to do some friggin damage to him! To help my dps buddy out. But I guess as you said I should worry more about a defensive ultimate...but what? And if I choose to test out an offensive ultimate. What should I use? To the third post, I normally keep total dark on them. Nut even still I was eating my own meteors and having the ground based effect on me. So I don't know...maybe eclipse doesn't work that way and I should use defensive posture?
