So I love magic type classes but here in ESO I am also drawn to the ability to duel wield daggers on a sorc. I would like to be able to duel wield daggers(and put out decent dmg specially when I need to solo.) and I would assume to spec into storm calling? and maybe grab the clanfear for tanking?

Just so confused as there are instead of not being enough options in this game lol being way tooo many. I would assume a bit more in magic and some into health and stam for my stats as I go and full leather with enchants? or some leather some cloth? thanks in advance for the advice.

Fortunately for you, stamina sorcs are in this season. You may hear people complain about a lack of stamina morphs for sorc skills, but it sounds like you primarily want to use your class skills for utility, rather than direct damage, which means its completely fine to drop most of your points in stamina for the dual wield damage.

I'd definitely recommend looking into a lightning form morph: you'll be in melee range anyway, so it'll give you extra damage and, more importantly, lots of bonus armor and spell resist (plus, it looks FREAKING AWESOME).

Surge is also an early source of Major Brutality, which significantly increases weapon damage, and one of our few self heals. Since you won't be as likely to use the class DoTs as a magicka sorc, you might even get more out of the skill than most.

Ultimates scale on the highest of either stamina or magicka, so feel free to use any of our three -- overload is great if you still want the "I shoot laserbeams with my mind" aspect of sorcery, and negate can be great if you find yourself needing a panic button to get breathing room.

Besides that, we've got multiple stuns and roots that don't really care how much magicka you've got -- I recommend encase, since its an AoE root that will make it easier to hit with the PBAoE in dual wielding.

Finally, if you find resource management to be an issue for you, don't forget that there is a morph of dark exchange which let's you drain your own mana to quickly restore stamina and health. It's a bit too slow to use in chaotic situations, but since its channeled you can always use it for short bursts when you just need a bit more stamina to get off a finisher.

Once you've got those, fill the rest of your bars with weapon skills, and stab things until dead, then rinse and repeat.

Ah thanks should I even bother with a clanfear pet ? for a bit to tank as I lvl or no?

Honestly, the best thing about the clannfear is that it heals you when it dies. If I recall correctly, its stats scale off magicka, so I'd really only take it if you want the emergency healing.

If you really want a summoning skill for the flavor, then I recommend the storm atronach ultimate -- that guy will scale off your stamina, and he is much more impressive than a scrawny daedric raptor (and tankier too).

Um... Clanfear heal doesnt scale with magica. It heals the caster for 35% of casters health on clanfears death.
    Say no to Toxic Casuals!
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge

It's damage output scales off magicka, it's heals from health.

No they aren't - they are pencilled in to be 'in season' around 8 months from now.

There are some calls for stamina morphs et all but no acknowledgement this would make Sorc. Godmode in PvP. There are also those who really don't like the idea.... far more in my opinion.

Fact is, your duel wield daggers could be made a great build replacing some of the bad magicka morphs on the magicka skills in question to other magicka morphs that support weapon dps builds.

But in the meantime, until Zenimax go one way or the other, you're stuck between a set of poor design decisions made for 1.6 and the huge amount of time they propose taking to fix less than half of the complaints about the class.

There are some stamina sorcerer builds. As well as, some magicka sorcerer builds using dual wield. Probably, it gives more spell damage .

I know it's been a while since beta and some things have changed but I am sure it's still viable.
Check out Atropos build he had in beta. He is with the website Tamriel Foundry.
It was a dual wield sorc build. Basically he buffed himself with the sorc abilities and used crits to heal himself. Combine that with Imperial passives and you could rock. He was even able to solo dolmens. And, during beta dolmens were actually pretty difficult.
