Worth it for Melee Stamina Nightblade to have Healing Staff on Second Bar for Force Siphon?

I am still in the process of the Veteran Grind but I plan on just PvPing after I get high enough. I've been running some variation of this "Blood Knight" build I've been working on where the idea is to have survivability through bursting people down and getting health back until I die.

I'd prefer to drop the bow and be pure melee. I was wondering if using a Healing Staff on the Second Bar for Force Siphon would be worth it... I know hybrid builds don't work too well... I came up with this version... and it seems to be working well in PvE (haven't been able to try Force Siphon yet though because I am in the process of leveling Healing Staff) but will the heals on the second bar scale enough in a Stamina focused build to justify not just going for something else?

Yes, but not for force siphon so much as for rapid regen/healing ward. even with no magicka healing ward is a pretty solid oh**** button, especially combined with shadow cloak.

I'm pretty sure Force Siphon scales off magicka, so it wouldn't do you any good with a stamina build, the lifesteal would be tiny. It's better used with a magicka build and Crushing Shock, since that triggers the heal three times per hit.
