Questions regarding account copy to console

Hello, all,

I just got an email stating that I'm eligible for the account copy service to console from PC.

I have a couple questions:

1) This is a COPY, correct? My PC account/characters will still exist?

2) If yes to question 1 above, can both accounts be logged in and playing at the same time? I would think so since they're on separate servers.

The reason for question 2 above is that my son may wish to use some of my characters while I'm playing on PC, especially my crafter... plus that would give him a huge boost in initial gear, money, etc.

Thanks, folks.

Take care,

Yes, it is a copy. They make that very clear when making the purchase.

No idea regarding #2. Same account logged in on console and PC...

No official word, but from the way that they've stated that progression is then separate for the two accounts, and the fact that you have to buy another client, it seems that they are separate accounts. How that is handled is another story, since you can't link the accounts to the same e-mail...

You can link consoles to the same account. See this page: https://account.elderscrollsonline.com/account/linked_accounts
    LINKED ACCOUNTS

To play Elder Scrolls Online on your PlayStation®4 or Xbox One, you need to link your Sony Entertainment Network or Xbox Live account. You can link both a Sony Entertainment Network and Xbox Live account, but no information (characters, progress, etc.) will be shared between them--the accounts are entirely separate. This feature is currently disabled until we launch The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One.
