So I've had a magicka nightblade since early access, always loved playing it, it was my favorite dungeon character until 1.6.
Now I'm finding it just doesn't put out enough single target dps. Still works well for area effect trash clearing or fights with lots of adds, but single target dps is so weak.
Mostly I run grim focus, degeneration, funnel health and light attack weaves. I've been tossing a cripple or a Mark in there too but haven't found either to be a substantial difference.
42 points in health and 20 in magicka gives about 20k hp and 25k magicka.
Martial knowledge, torugs pact, healer jewellery. Dual destro. Space for undaunted set.
Have adroitness and cyro light rings as an option, but want to plan a build that uses undaunted. Maybe I just need to switch to that in the meantime? Anyone else running that build?
Are other people finding the same? I have horrible luck on the undaunted drops so I don't have a good undaunted set which I'm sure contributes, but it's hard to do the vet dungeons if you can't put out the dps.
What builds are people running that get over 10k dps? What is the best spell rotation? I have a crap tonne of gear lying around, been considering trying medium attack weaving but I'm not 100% sure how you weave those so if someone could elaborate that would be great. I do have a good undaunted set for heavy attacks at least.
Also is crushing shock/force pulse much better dps than funnel health considering you lose all the off heals?
Please bear in mind I'm only talking about vet dungeons for gold key runs and trials or vet dsa. Don't post saying that your lvl 23 nb face rolls everything, because of course it does because all content other than vet content is laughably easy mode.
Thanks!
