Is damage mitigation based on damage type or resource (magicka/stamina) used to inflict the damage?

Hello,

Is damage mitigated based on the type of damage or the resource used? For example, Evil Hunter deals magic damage but costs stamina. Is the damage of Evil Hunter mitigated by spell resist because it is magic damage? Or mitigated by armor because it is a stamina-based skill?

What about Ultimates?

What about passives, like Burning Light, that proc magic damage but scale based off the higher of spell damage or weapon damage?

Thanks.

If its stamina....its weapon damage + crit = armour
If its magicka...its spell damage + crit = spell resist

+ additional....spell damage on daedra = spell resist

Upon reflection, I'm wondering about this as well.

I'm imagining it's intended like Rune has said.

Flame damage, poison damage, magic damage caused by stamina and weapon damage scaled attacks are leaving me with questions. I don't think annulment will work. But I will eagerly await someone to test this on my pristine flesh in Cyrodiil.
