Obviously add an option to toggle it on and off for those not interested in the feature but wouldn't it add just a little bit more depth to epic fights.

Wouldn't the killing of that final boss in that Trial you worked so hard to beat be that much sweeter if you could watch it's death throws in slow motion, with the player that dealt the killing blow performing the Execution themself?

Think of the avenues it would open up in terms of Achievement's alone!


In PvP, it's all too fast paced for you to be able to stop and smell the roses..err watch your epic executions. So when you're about to call it a day, you can watch the last handful of your PvP session, share it with your friends.

Instead of having the droll robotic sensation of death in PvP be waiting for E so you can rez at the nearest FC, trivializing deaths on the battlefield time after time. Imagine watching your own beautiful demise with a multitude of executions and kill moves.


Of course, optimization takes priority, can't enjoy any of this epicness with terribad lag and undesirable imbalances.

This feature would have to be an "icing on the cake" type saved in reserve for when things are running smoothly enough to dedicate time to it's implementation.

Gory player deaths have a negative impact on online game player culture, War of the Roses being one rather extreme example.

In ESO most of your humanoid NPC opponents are provocatively clad females, wearing armor designed to titillate not protect in many cases, who utter death-gasm sighs when they expire, often extended ones. And if you use an area effect damage over time spell on several of them you have something approaching a *** film soundtrack. In death most stare open eyed at the sky.

I've seen my character die vomiting fluid from her throat uttering horrible sounds.

Do not expand upon this. Do not enhance this.

Would love to see ZoS respond to this....

I think that people are confused about what "Mature" means. And this horse was beaten to death quite a while ago.

Slow-mo death doesn't work in an MMO. It's way too hard to coordinate a slow-motion effect across multiple computers, and it's far too time-consuming if they're only going to do it for group dungeon final bosses.

Could they add lots of "wicked-cool" blood decals after something is dead? Sure. It's still something that isn't necessary and takes development time away from content for people who don't have an odd fascination with seeing blood.

Also, I just had to call this one out: what game are you playing? Because it isn't ESO, which is probably one of the best games on the market in terms of their design and portrayal of female characters.

I pretty much gave up on the "provide a suggestion - given earnest feeback" dream a few weeks ago. ZOS will do what they want to do. They will make changes to silence the squeaky wheels but aside from that ESO will grow and change according to THEIR vision... not through the desires of what appears to be a minority of the paying customers.

Necro, I know but relevant point still stands. Some players still don't feel as though the game is living up to it's Mature rating.

Now that there's an influx of new blood on the forums, I believe this should be brought to light once more.

Thank you for your opinion. But seeing no blood when you murder something, is just not realistic. And the minute splashes that MIGHT exist in the game, are so brief I can't call to memory any time I've seen it in combat.

The ONLY time I ever seen any kind of blood action, is the Vampire feed animation and the Werewolf Devour animation. That's it. And maybe some spell effects that are part of the scripts for quest NPCs.

So rather than trying to attack someone's maturity level, find something more constructive to do with your time.

Yes indeedy that would be nice.

Any addition to the game could lead to more crashs, lags and bugs. So you don't want zenimax to work on the game in any area. Your stance, not mine. I support the suggestion for a bloodiest eso, it is actually rated M because of the murder thing, but it's way more on the bright enchanting world than a dark fantasy actually. As long as it is optionnal, I don't see a reason to be against, aside from a dev time pov.
