Should I Werewolf?

Hi there.
I know, I know. There are lots and lots of different discussions about Werewolfs but I'm still unsure.
I am playing a Bosmer Sorcerer Tank (odd combination, I know) and was wondering if it would be good for me to become a werewolf or if it would not make much sense at all.
I know about the poison weakness... which I can balance out with my Bosmer racial skill.
So what about the other skills? Does the stamina regen passive count when not transformed as well?

Hope you can shed some light on the matter for me :)

While I have found the Werewolf abilities lack luster I have kept being a Werewolf. From what I can see, the passive 15% STA regen boost applies whether or not you are transformed.

Overall, it feels like a waste of an Ultimate slot to bother transforming for such a short duration and loss of access to all my other slotted skills. Others opinions may differ.

It can be effective in PvE , so far not PVP . Transforming I mean .

Exactly what the above said, the stamina buff is what most people became werewolves for and using the ultimate in most serious situations is a little lack luster.

Short answer is yes, absolutely. Especially as a tank.

For one reason: 15% stam regen FOR FREE.

THIS STAM REGEN IS APPLICABLE TO YOUR CHARACTER EVEN WITHOUT TRANSFORMING INTO WEREWOLF. It's great for stam dps, tanks, even my caster DK runs it bc she has such wack stam (~9k) and it can't hurt to have better regen in a pool for dodging/ blocking. As of now there are no negative effects outside of werewolf form. So just yes X1000.

Werewolf FTW! I love the changes they made to it! It could be a little better in PVP etc scenarios but still, you can hit pretty hard and you get to fear, self heal, knockdown and put a dot on enemies. Do it, Do it Noooowww! :cold_sweat:

Hah, thanks a lot guys. I guess I better look for a bite soon.
I wasn't at all sure if the Stamina Regen applies to non-transformed as well so thanks for clearing that up.

On my NB, with crit build, using the 10% damage buff of hircines rage, 20% from the fear, then spamming the knockdown (even on bosses) while keeping my ww dot up and buffs up hit for 11k each. Not to mention the 20% buff affects allies too.
