RIP PVP

I've decided a year was long enough . Long enough to at least address the core issues that PVP players have been begging for in threads every week . No need to bring them all up or throw any Dev names under the bus . I think I gave ESO pvp a fair chance if not more then fair . The people are divided and generally always unpleasant . As a pure pvp player I even understand why PVE players hate this aspect the most in this game . So many changes with so little results . A full year plus is a genuine amount of time to donate along with writing tickets and making videos too fully help staff as much as possible . So I can walk away knowing I gave 100% to this aspect of the game .

This is not a quitting the game thread . I have some plans to explore , join other players in content I missed out on and just want to have fun again . You guys and girls that are sticking it out longer in pvp , I wish you all the luck in Tamriel . Friends , enemies , friendamies alike . I do hope they bring what was advertised sometime in the future .

Parting advice , no game is worth making your valuable free time miserable . You only get one real life . Before you think this person or that person is terrible or hope bad things really do happen to them , remember a game made you feel that way . An no matter how educated , superior or more important you believe you are compared to them the truth is you let behavior in a game be your focus of judgement . Try not to break your monitor lol

Well, although the current state of Cyrodiil is really horrible with all its long known bugs ESO is (unfortunately) still the only game providing this kind of PvP in a decent community.
So I will stay here for another while and just stop paying for the game for now as the sub doesn't really provide a huge benefit to me as a PvP player and I want to see how ZOS handles the problems until June (when my sub has to be renewed).

How many times,how many threads, how many comments from ZOS saying we are looking into that, or I'll pass this along.....
Yeah right. What got me though was them asking for a video of the game pausing while mounted. Tell me one person that hasn't had that happen constantly. But they need a video of it? It's truly unfathomable to think that we have put up with it for so long.

Totally agree, I am subbed for another 6-7 weeks if it hasn't changed (lag, population and still blobs can survive) then as a pvper I will remove my sub and play until its fixed or another game comes along. I am not going to sub so that the PvEers get all the attention with content.

I basically halved my PvP time months ago. PvP is so unbalanced and full of bugs its a chore to play thru. Only blackwater blade can even come close to giving me the promised PvP I was told about.

Its a shame too, as it could have been great:(

perhaps it will get better in the future.

I've played since launch and while the bugs and lag can be annoying, I know that it's not just my alliance that's experiencing them. If it was that, then I'd quit...

I am not a PvPer but realize the importance of it for the game's survival.

I just can't understand why, after a year, that it much, much worse than it was at launch.

Yep, I cancelled my sub until its fixed. Gonna ride the gravy train until then. Hopefully, they wont break it any worse than it already is with the next patch...

Meh. Seems like whenever I start to get to where I hate it; it turns around and I love it. First hour or so last night, had I quit then, I would be in the same boat. But then fun happened.

I quit pvp 3 months ago, occasionally I'll go to an empty server and farm mats, or the morning the new siege buff came out I spent an hour blowing the **** out of some EP at alessia.

The final straw amongst the lag, bunk siege set ups and unkillable enemies was a couple hours of mat farming and emperor flipped 5-6 times between DC and EP and I realized what a cheap and meaningless title it was.

Its tough to imagine imperial city being implemented with today's issues still occuring. Theres been really bad big patches - that would be absolutely monumental.

I was doing PVP for a very long time but I lost all my love for it a during the low population bonus issue on EU Thornblade.

Now I just CBA with the queues and lagg, better to just play PVE or play another game all together.

I really want to come back and enjoy PVP but we just see no headway made and rarely do we get updates, it took a thread demanding a Developer leave their job before we started to get some almost semi regular feedback about changes PVP, then this week we get the "PVE for better PVP rewards" update which just has me all the way back to wondering how far from the pulse ZOS fingers are.

"Slipping through alleys and behind houses with Khajiit precision and dexterity , he hears the sobbing at every candle lit window . A mothers woes in her lost child's bedroom rise above the echoing footsteps of guards patrolling outside . A rumble of thunder fills the air as a slight mist turns into rain bouncing off rooftops and washing into gutters . There's not much time left and the Khajiit know this . Covering his head from the rain with his hood he scrambles off towards the sewers entrance . He smells the evil still but the rain will soon wash the scent away .

Nearing the barred grate he finds a clue . Another disgusting creation driving the children mad in Tamriel . A object of pure evil ingenuity .... Soaked with stuffing ripped from the foot .

Roechacca's ears pivet back as his nose whiskers wrinkle in disgust at the object . "That's no Monkey ..!" "That *** did it again" he grumbles picking the sewer lock . Dashing inside and shrouded in a cloak of magical darkness , Our hero rushes to find the evil man known as "The really really bad at anatomy Toy Maker?!"
