Stupid Question - Staves and Basic/Power Attacks

Are they based off Magicka now? Or Stamina? I asked this in another thread that was also about Weapon Crit/Spell Crit, and the weapon/spell crit question got answered, not this one.

Basic/Power attacks! Just curious.

Yes all staff stuff is magika now.

It's not a stupid question at all. Once upon a time all weapons scaled off of Weapon Power and Weapon Crit, including staves, and even the d-staff skills.

There's no such thing a stupid question, only stupid answers, of which there are none in this thread.

Staffs are magicka, all other weapons are stamina. Class skills are all magicka, unless a morph specifically states it scales off of weapon damage and costs stamina. Each class got a couple of these options. Ultimates are still ultimates.
