Trying to craft a higher level bow

I am level 25 now, and I can't seem to be able to craft a higher level bow than 14? It only gives me the maple choice to craft with, even though I have the right materials to craft for higher levels. Am i doing something wrong?

Dekkameron✭✭✭✭✭You need to invest in the ability to use a higher level material. I think Oak is the next wood that you can use (16-24) then Beech wood for 26-34.

rosarose✭✭Thank you for your reply, I do have several points put into the woodworking skill tree. But I will make sure i have oak as well, I tried with Beech yesterday, so hopefully it's just that did a silly mistake!0
