Help for a DK (Build)

I'm going to start by saying I'm a very casual player. I have been playing since Beta and I'm only Vet-4. With that being said I'm trying to get advice as to how to build up my Nord DK since all my skills got reset. I want to be able to do legit DPS in Cyrodiil. I have a feeling I have been going at it all wrong this whole time. I initially used 2-handed swords, but have since switched to 1H/shield and have that up to 50 now. I see a lot of DK's using staffs though so I'm not sure if I could be doing more damage if I go that route.

As for armor I wear a full suit of heavy (5 pieces Death's Wind, 4 pieces Ashen Grip).


Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Well I did a DK stam build that I'm happy with. 5pc Hunding's, 4pc Ravager, 3pc Ashen 5pc medium/2heavy w/ Some impen and infused traits. Chest and Head enchanted with Health, all the other pieces with stamina. I have one bar set up with S/B and the other with dual wield. I'm not the highest hitting DK DPS but I can survive while doing good DPS.

    If you're wanting to do PvP DPS, you have a few routes you can take with a DK, first is of course 2H Weapons, the second would be a Staff build. I'm sure there are a few others that can be used as well, but those are the main two DPS weapons DK's use.

    My build currently is:

    7/7 HA 4 Major Health Enchants, Minor Stamina and Magicka Increase Enchants w/Infused/Impen on all.
    5 Piece Hist Bark
    4/3 Piece Vampire Kiss
    1H&S w/Life Drain and Sharpness, 2H Sword w/Unresistable Dmg and Sharpness

    Currently sit at around 12k Magicka, 29k Health, 15k Stamina w/Food Buff

    It's more of a Tank build, but has very respectable power I would like to say, able to survive some pretty hard hits, and then stay in the fight while taking down large groups of enemies. Mixed with a Healer and would probably be pretty close to unstoppable.

    Is here anybody arround which can give me a suggestion for an DK DD, mainly for dungeons and pve? I think I have skilled very bad... :/
