NB - Not Sure What To Use For My 2nd Skill Bar

I'm level 35 at the moment and my skills are as follows:

Single Target DPS Bar

Ambush, Swallow Soul, Blood Craze, Rapid Strikes, Killer's Blade.

Ultimate = Soul Harvest

AoE DPS Bar

Scalding Rune, Twisting Path, Whirling Blades, Power Extraction, Razor Caltrops

Ultimate = Soul Tether

My weapons for both skill bars are Dual Wield. I've been thinking about ditching the 2nd bar and just using a bow instead. My issue with that is, whilst bow may have a lot of useful abilities, I don't really like using the bow as much as I like dual wielding and I'm worried that I may end up using the bow far more than I use my dual wield weapons, purely because you can attack the enemy from range, and I don't really want that to happen. I love being a melee class, and just feel if I were to use a bow it'd overtake my melee weapons as my "main" weapon.

If I were to use a bow, that would also mean that I'd not be able to use Whirling Blades on my 2nd bar (which I love using for AoE). I could of course transfer it to my melee bar but that would mean having to take away one of the skills I'm already using, and I can't decide which to take out as I love each of the skills currently being used on my single target melee bar.

What do you guys suggest? Should I use a bow or just carry on using my skills as they are at the moment?

Thanks.

    [First Bar:] Dual Wield
    • Blood Craze (Twin Slashes Morph) Dual Wield Tree
    • Rapid Strikes (Flurry Morph) Dual Wield Tree
    • Killer's Blade (Assassin's Blade Morph) Nightblade - Assassination Tree
    • Ambush (Teleport Strike Morph) Nightblade - Assassination Tree
    • Surprise Attack (Veiled Strike Morph) Nightblade - Shadow Tree
    • [Ultimate:] Soul Harvest (Death Stroke Morph) Nightblade - Assassination Tree
    [Second Bar:] Dual Wield
    • Power Extraction (Drain Power Morph) Nightblade - Siphoning Tree
    • Siphoning Attacks (Siphoning Strikes Morph) Nightblade - Siphoning Tree
    • Steel Tornado (Whirlwind Morph) Dual Wield Tree
    • Mass Hysteria Aspect of Terror Morph) Nightblade - Shadow Tree
    • Killer's Blade (Assassin's Blade Morph) Nightblade - Assassination Tree
    • [Ultimate:] Soul Tether (Soul Shred Morph) Nightblade - Siphoning Tree

    There, every ability listed, with the exception of Mass Hysteria costs Stamina or will cost Stamina in 1.6, and you now have an AoE bar and SingleTarget bar, both complete with executes, both are utilizing Dual Wield. Hope you like it, if not, suppose you could use a Two-Handed for the AoE, but Dual Wield is better because the AoE aspect of that ability is essentially an execute in and of itself.

    Edit: This would be an end-game bar set up, you said you were level 35 so you might not have all of these abilities unlocked yet. Either way, it's the most effective setup, using Dual Wield for both bars, that I could come up with for a Nightblade.

    Yeah, I'd say this looks pretty good if you are going dual wield.

    Why Mass Hysteria, is this a good skill to use as a NB? Thanks!

    Mass Hysteria is probably one of my favourite skills of the NB. Can save your ass in a lot of situations or annoy other players to no end if PVPing.

    It fears up to 3 people for 4 seconds and forces them to stop blocking, after it ends it snares the target and causes them to deal reduced damage. It's a jack of all trades really.

    Don't think 2 melee bars is a great idea with everyone going to be useing damage shields in pvp you going to want a range bar so stay out of there damage shield range and still do damage. My rogue uses restore staff because it goes right through shields at range. You can put on stuff like throwing knife from duel wield on it for range abilities as well at the silver bolt thing from the warriors guild line. Unless you use 100 percent all stamina abilities you have to have some way of regenerating magic and health. A staff heavy attacks do that as well as heal a little at end of heavy attack.

    I'm not really into PvP much at the moment. Was looking for PvE tips really. I'll most likely switch to Bow or something when I try PvP out in the future.

    Thanks guys.
