Why do items not stack in Guild Banks?

They don't auto-stack. Say there are 2 iron ingots and you deposit 1 more, they won't stack. You'd have to take the 2 out first and stack them in your inventory first.

It's very simple, ZoS wants us to have to make difficult decisions in ESO like whether to install the Roomba addon or have to manually stack 500 items in a Guild Bank because they're too lazy/dont' care enough to give us a single button in the UI that does "Stack all". Also Duping way back when ruined a lot of things for us, like the way the GB plays the "I'm not touching you" game and won't load at all or how you have to very slowly put things in or take them out or the GB stops responding for a short time.

Fair enough but of cause the OP didn't state "Auto" stack.hence my reply.

Items did auto-stack at the beginning. Then it was disabled as a fix for a duping exploit.

It was my understanding that that was just a temporary solution until the fix is procured. I guess we can await that for patch 2.9 by end of 2017.

+1 for them fixing this snip because its really horrible and lazy. this should be a decent priority. roomba is good but still damn annoying.
