"I got around 150k champion point xp from completing the Veteran Thrall Slayer achievement in Spindleclutch. Is recieving xp from achievements intended? If it is, I am pretty screwed over with over 12k achievement points already obtained. :/"

What you think we will be past rewarded for achievements? Or ZOS make solution as they done with Undaunted and we will see a lot of Rage?
As for me i was doing them in the hope of future rewarding and don't want to make alt's to grind them all again.

    Most likely this will work like the Undaunted change and people that have done more content have fewer ways to be rewarded under the new system.

    It is only the Veteran Slayer achievs? Hmm. I still have a few of them left, sucks about the ones I have already completed though...

    Still need to try out more methods to gain champion xp, the xp gained from completing a gold pledge was not very good. I still need to try the Cyrodiil and Craglorn dailies. I hope dailies are made a worthwhile way to get champion points, otherwise it is pretty sad for those that have completed so much already.

    Yeah, basically players you already completed everything get screwed over, where as the people like me that don't have anything done on both V14s will have two zones of quests and dungeons to grind through as well as the dungeon achievements.

    Dont know, i dont have many achievements, for now i noticed only Slayer achivs which give exp, maybe another xp achivs exist...

    Another option would be to open up the quests again to people that would like to do them again. I tried leveling up an alt, but each time I grab a level or two I just end up thinking: I have this really cool main I want to play! But after a while the world starts to feel a little empty, especially considering I have completed Cadwell's Silver and Gold before Craglorn existed. >.<

    You could make an alt and do the achievements again. The champion pts go to your account. It would be funny if it turned out the fastest way to get champion pts was to quest grind to 50, delete the character and repeat.

    1-50 content doesn't grant Champion Points afaik, only VR content does.

    Do you seriously think PvPers are going to capture some resources for a quest if they have to ride 3 minutes to get there ^^ ?

    There are 2 types of Daily quest in Cyrodill.

    1: PvP quest picked up in the starting location. These are kill xyx players, capture keeps, and capture resources, etc.

    2: PvE quest picked up in the varous locations on the map. These are not PvP related but are in Cyrodill. There are many of these spread throughout Cyrodill.

    PvP players do 1 currently, but do not go out of there way to do them. At least I dont as a PvP player. Even when the champion system goes live most likely wont go out of there way to capture a resource far away. I agree with you there.

    What the planned changes are though is the PvE quest in Cyrodill. If these give great exp and are worth doing then that means there will be many more players at these PvE locations in Cyrodill. This means these locations will turn into small scale PvP locations.

    The biggest problem is travel time to these spots when players die. There can be a very large travel time which will be a problem. Thus I also proposed they set up a new type of Forward Camps with better mechanics and limitations to avoid FC abuse, but thats another topic.

    Not the best option but I agree that is better than nothing.

    I was expecting everything tracked, as it was stated in autumn, while the achievements already earned are now an handicap.
    This is really penalising instead of being rewarded: it's incredible.
    The only reasons to keep playing a main character are Alliance ranks achieved, gear obtained, riding skills and crafting skills (mainly for traits researched).

    It would be great to add some repeteable quests unlocked only when some achievements are gained (Cadwell's gold, achievements related to quests, exploration, dark anchors, zones, dungeons, trials, etc.) at least players who completed these already have some contents to gain the xp lost while the other players complete these achievements to unlock the repeteable quests.

    Another solution, that could work also with the previous one, is to make achievements based on account.
    This would make some things, like dyes, unlocked for every character.
