Surge and Force Pulse/Crushing Shock bug...

Since the Surge cooldown the 3 damage types from Force Pulse only trigger ONE heal due to the cooldown. You already changed the DK spell to only could all 3 hits from this ability and its morphs as one spell when reflecting... so maybe change it so Surge only counts it as one and gives the proper healing?

Its one of the most used if not the most used ability by Sorcerers... so its pretty important to get it done before 1.6 reaches live or the Surge nerf will pretty much make it so you only get 1/3 of the healing you should get.

    If the CD were removed and a max 6 targets introduced, then this problem would be solved. As would DoT ticks "stealing" healing from other abilities, and any form of useful AoE healing.

    Yea... i don`t want to insult anyone but the guy doing the balancing is really bad at this.

    They should get a gamer to do this not a developer.

    They pretty much ruined the ability for both magicka and physical dps... also dropped the DPS for the entire class in the process thanks to changing Surge.

    Just get a guy that can do a proper job at this rate it will be 2020 by the time whoever is balancing this will figure out to play the classes well enough to balance them.

    Either way, if this makes it to 1.6... the game will fail like it did the first time for obvious reasons. Nobody likes to play a game where their class is ruined just because the developer is not a gamer and does not understand the system.

    A 6 target max is way too small. The max should be no less than 12 to deal with swarms of mobs in Craglorn, or the spiders in Spindleclutch, for example.

    I wouldn't mind if they just removed AoE caps, but it would be overpowered compared to other classes skills having the cap higher than 6.

    Actually the changes they have done to others classes has been very effective, so the developer obviously are gamers. I really think however they have particular bias against sorcerers.

    These design choices are obviously terrible and no one in the combat team is actually listening. They say they are but obviously they aren't because the changes reflects this.

    I don't this game will fail if the changes go ahead with sorcerer in 1.6 but there will be a huge drop in people playing the class in favor of others because they will find a lot of the abilites not working as well as other classes.

    This has nothing to with difficulty curve, the sorcerer class is utterly broken and Eric Wrobel just doesn't care.

    Gina said he would release information about the sorcerer class changes this weekend but that never happened.

    If crushing shock / force pulse count as one projectile for reflective scale, they must also count as one attack for crit surge. If not, that is some extreme bias for DKs.

    The CD time also nerfs Flurry (DW line) and its morphs because the pace of the channeled attacks is fast enough that if the proc happens at all on critical (lag issues here I think) they will only happen on every other hit.

    Back to the original point, the problem with CS, DOT, Flurry, etc. has been brought up in the forums to death. The suggestion to remove the CD and cap the AOE at 6 targets has similarly been brought up many times. Unfortunately there hasn't been any response from the Devs. A PVP player who seemed pretty knowledgeable seemed to think this is all about a wall breach ZERG in a castle assault. (Weird because the AOE limit would solve that without breaking the ability everywhere else).

    In another thread @ZOS_GinaBruno on Friday had said we would hear something from the Devs on where they were going with Sorcerers (hopefully before the weekend), when they missed that revised to when they have enough time.
