Confused with Testing and Direction

I am worried about the direction of the extended points system.

This game has went completely opposite direction from why I wanted to play it...

FPS Style Hot Targets with Reticulum
Great AvA PVP
Skill Based

People were worried about F2P -- Pay to Win Style and you have proven not to go down this road yet....

What you have done is created the largest imbalance for PLAY to WIN.

From the horrible AVA emperor system with former emp buffs... abused by cheaters and people with no lifers

Champion System that will make the most imbalanced characters ever. No Lifers will get to the 3600 ASAP --- while the rest of the people will suffer with a cruelty punishment to PVE to get CS Points. How can we even be reassured that the Developers wont have 3600 from Day One. How do we know that Mostly Harmless with your private Alpha Testing and Arena Matches do not get 3600 from Day One.

Players are going to be almost unkillable. You have stated in the video that it's possible to make your character take ZERO damage from Crits... Really.... I showed how no other race in the game can match the Breton with Spell Resistance while the Breton can easily with 9 points match all races -- btw Developers Dagger team... Interesting...

What you have done with the sorc alone has people questioning.. Are the developers punishing the Sorc, because EP's top players are on Sorcs? How can you run a successful game when you have Developers and Select Special Guilds from One Faction talking to much and showing imbalance.

Suggestions:

Give us a AVA unlimited --- All Factions can MAX OUT from Day One. Just like the PST Server. So, No Lifers can abuse the system.

ADD PLAYER COLLISION -- why? FPS does it... you can't stack, you can't overload enemy with Lag Bombs.... FPS never allowed stacking for one of many reasons. But the two I showed you would work perfect.

Stop with this grinding --- I would PAY EXTRA to not have to grind a toon to play AVA. Everytime we decide to play a new toon... GRIND TO V14 to have you then Nerf it. Let the PVE players play PVE.

I have pushed people to this game.... supported the changed to Pay to Play... But with this new policy of No Life / No Skill Uber player -- that is completely going the wrong direction. It might work for PVE, but to do this to PVP players is out of line. After doing my test on the PST.. you have left me and friends subscribing to beta's like Crow....

Just as another business model give us AVA Unlimited, New Server and I would pay my Subscription there. Shesh, send me a private message via linkedin and lets look at the server cost and business plan -- we might want to take it on with you to help...

    You want the ESO playstyle in a FPS type setting. Call it, Battlefield 5: Tamriel perhaps. While I think this could be interesting, it makes no sense to put it in the current game. Mostly because it is such a huge change that not everyone would support. Especially after people who put time into their characters specifically for the purpose of growth get nerfed to a level playing field. But your end suggestion of an entirely new server with that type of play style as the stated norm could be ok.

    Btw, emp farming is easy. The time investment is not that big at all. Now maintaining emp on a server like Thornblade is a big time sink. But farming, all that takes is a couple good afternoons/evenings and a group of friends/guildies.

    And finally, while I cannot stand Pay to Win, raging against someone being successful for playing a lot is crazy. They put the time in, let them reap the rewards. I would love to be able to play more, but I can't. It would be unreasonable for me to expect ZOS to handicap others in an attempt to cater to my lack of game time.

    I serious doubt ZoS will give anyone free champion points regardless who they are.

    I do agree somewhat that the powergap will grow overtime and this does worry me as a avid PvP player. I am not worried about my character but worried it will keep new players from trying the game.

    A few ways this can be resolved:
    Add a daily champion point cap. This is not likely to happen at this stage and if it is put into place months down the road it will just mean those who exploited the system got away with it and makes it nearly impossible to "catch up". Not the best solution.
    • Make Enlightenment bonus scale based on the number of champion points a player has. IE: Those with 0-39% can earn 8x, those with 40-79% can earn 6x, those with 80-120% can earn normal 4x, and those with greater then 120% earns 2x. The value it goes off based on an average player that is updated every few weeks.
    • Add a new PvP Campaign that limits a players champion points.

    Season gear is also supposed to help solve some of this power gap but not enough is known about it yet.

    Do not let the number 3600 fool you either. Only a certain amount of points are actually viable for players builds and anything above that is more about fluff. There is the DR on points that will also effect the gap.

    There are diminishing returns, but a player with 3k CP is still far superior to one with 1.5k CP.

    I would like if they took out like 80% out of the stats from the Champion System and buffed players to where they were in 1.5.

    Death to the casuals :-( I foresee (especially gimped classes) people not allowed in trials / dungeon groups because they flat out don't have a certain amount of Champion points. Also PVP is going to be a mess with the sheer gap between people with Champion points. Casual player will be FAR behind that of a person who plays often. Casual will not even bother playing out of frustration. (They try to counter this with the "enlightenment" feature and diminishing returns but I have my doubts).

    And this is where the crown store comes in. EXP potions, etc.... BUTTT everyone can use this (if they choose). Making the casual player even further behind.

    Let's hope we're wrong.

    My point is not rage against the no lifers, but to show that the System is going to allow for HUGE Gaps.

    If you really look over the champion system, you can see that the amount of points 3600 --- gives a extremely large basis for player CS gaps.

    They have nerfed much of the toons so we can enhance them with CS points. If you study the point system, someone with 100 points difference is a pretty big deal. When you get into the 1k's its even greater.

    The system will gimp players in the same fashion as a level 7 against a level higher with more skills and more open skills from skill points. Hitting a Spell with great spell penetration, spell power, spell crit, and enhanced elemental.. with 100 points more than you in spell defense, crit defense, poison resists, elemental resists... And you have no chance.

    How is AVA PVP going to level players out like they do now? Whats the answer to this? Are they going to level out everyones champion points?

    People play this game ALL DAY. Look at the points just in AVA. There should be Zero Champion System in PVP.

    The difference based on stats and costs with an average Stamina Build.

    Bottom-Left = 0 CP
    Top = 900 CP
    Right = 3600 CP
    V10 Drink instead of Buff-Food used
