Help in logging into PTS what am I supposed to see I just see my regular characters

I'm following the directions to go to the "gear" in the upper right hand corner of the login screen and allegedly the PTS is applied/enabled, but I just go to my normal characters. No justice system in effect (nothing is locked or acting 'stolen')

What else do I need to do to access the PTS? Any help appreciated.

Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    Have you downloaded the pts ?
    You have to toogle on the pts, and then download it. Then, you can access to the 1.6 in test.

    I am not seeing an option to download it. I see a 'check to apply' which I am checking and presumably applying, but I don't see anywhere where I CAN download it.

    I would love to. Just don't see where I can. Obviously I'm missing something.

    After you've checked apply go back to the launcher page, it should say "Elder Scrolls PTS" just under the normal one. Click on that to download the PTS.

    1) in launcher's options : check "show public test environment"
    2) might have to close en restart said launcher
    3) on the launcher, just under "the elder scrolls online (EU)" (or NA), you should see in grayed out "The Elder Scrolls Online (PTS) => clic on it to choose the pts over the main server.
    4) the "Play" button must now have changed to "Install" => click on it.

    5) anyway, the pts is gonna undergo maintenance kinda right now, so you might not be able to download it until update is complete server-side.

    6) hope this helps ^^

    Ahhhh... thanks. In the middle of the screen where there is a box, I now see two things listed under 'games'. First is The Elder Scrolls online (NA) which probably was there all along and I just didn't register it, second and presumably new is The Elder Scrolls Online (PTS), which when I clicked on it now gives me the download option.

    And it must be huge because I'm making no perceptible headway.

    Its the entire game, plus 1.6 so.. yeah.. its huge. It goes in another folder so it does not corrupt your "real" game.
    Power level to CP160 in a week:
    Where is the end game? You just played it.
    Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

    According to a ZOS reply I've seen in another thread the download for 'live' is about 50Gb so PTS is likely a tad bigger I guess.

    Well at least my internet is much faster than it was when downloading the initial game (took me about a week or so of all day/night most days).
