✭You mean it's no longer a weapon swap but there's a keybind for each weapon you have to select separately.

It was asked for. With only the one button swap, lag often causes you to double swap, and that's a bad thing in the middle of a hectic fight.PS4 / NA

The toggle is on by default. Options for weapon 1 and weapon 2 have to be bound in keybinds. I use it on my mouse buttons.Lame, I hadnt logged in since it's EU's turn on PTS. Crappy, unasked for change imo

But doesn't swap quick enough anymore when you want it to. I'm used to hitting weapon swap right after using a skill, but it doesn't swap because there's a little padlock on the bar. Need to wait something like a second after using a skill before the padlock goes and you can weapon swap. Don't like it.0 -

You don't need to use it if you don't want to. The standard toggle weapon swap is still there.
The padlock on the bar is a separate issue, where it sounds like they are either locking the bar or, more than likely, letting you know when your bar is locked because you're still in a skill animation. You had the same lock in 1.5, but it was never displayed.0 -
Yeah, they fixed that as well... PvP feels like a permanent stalemate.

No, on live the weapon swap interrupts the animation and swaps bars. On pts, the padlock prevents the weapon swap from cutting into the skill animation. You have to wait for the skill animation to finish it would seem for the padlock to lift. Thats new.

Just done another test and by the time I ani-cancel a skill with bash, the padlock has timed out naturally anyway. Its seems I've just got to get used to weapon swapping a split second later than I normally do. Haven't seen anyone else complain about this so it must just be me. Maybe when its live on EU the latency reduction will help.0 -

✭Yes, weapon swapping on the PTS is definitely slower than live. It has the padlock and will not let you swap in certain situations like you can on live. This is very, very apparent if you've spent any time in combat on the PTS.0 -

I found some of it to be faster with the base swap and faster to do abilities after the swap (I the light attack delay on melee we have on live) however I have found that animation canceling using base, block, or swapping has been delayed. Not saying it's not necessarily slower, however the timing on skill has been tweaked and there seems to be limitations to animation canceling, not to just weapon swapping.0
