Grim Focus (Haste replacement) Opinions?

    ??? You're doing it wrong if it only hits for 7-9K. My lowest hit was just over 19K and my highest was over 21K with a Magicka build.

    In PvP, the dmg is always lower than tooltipdmg or you ignore the whole spell resistance. (another skill waste for just a bit more dmg.)
    Ain't nobody got time for buffing a single shot in a fight.

    And I doubt that the 21k hit was uncrit ;)

    Nah mine was PvE testing and I totally forgot about PvP and Shields, my bad.

    Perhaps an ínterim solution would be having an add-on (tfc?) that overlays a number on the skill icon for the amount of LA/HA that connected, much like the percentage on the ultimate icon.

    I like the skill in theory, but i would add a stamina morph that scales with wep atack/crit and reduce the number of atacks to 3-5 and the dmg a bit.

    The damage is based already on your highest stat.
    It works like an ultimate for scaling.

    but it scales with spell power as far as i know. Idk it makes sense to me that it should have a stam morph, seems like a good skill to use with a bow.

    It's based on the max stats you have, so also weapon damage.
    1 weapon dmg = around 2 dmg added to the ability

    I'm sure of it since I tested this switching two rings, one with weapon dmg glyph, the other one with stamina reduction glyph.

    I started few days ago a topic about hybrid builds and, before do it, I wanted to run proper tests, infact I use this skill as an example of a skill based on max stats like ultimates. :)

    The problem is instead another one: with magic dmg written on the tooltip, is also penetration based on the highest one you have or is it always spell penetration?
    If devs applied the same criterion, it should be armor penetration or spell according to stats but we need a confirmation on this matter.
