Its so some don't get this HUGE head start and to level the playing field.

Well here's the problem. If you do more work then someone else, you should get a larger bonus. This is a game, NOT REAL LIFE... I don't need to feel like my boss hates me in a game. If they have done all of gold, silver, and or leveled more then 1 v14, the time and effort and WORK put into doing so, should be rewarded.

Leveling the playing field is great, works amazing for any players that haven't gotten to v14. It feels like i'm being smacked for leveling a 2nd class to experience it.... when if i had waited, i'd have gotten more for doing so.

HOWEVER, at the same time, if more had known they would get a bonus for having more then 1 v14, or grinding more exp past v14, more would have done so.

So I do see how it is a hard choice to make. Where you can not make everyone happy.

Next we have the trees....
Can anyone say 100%, they didn't take a while choosing what to put pts into?
Can anyone say that this was because it was hard deciding on what you actually wanted?
No. It was because it was hard deciding because for many, you get to a certain section and you honestly, don't really want anything.

First we are weakened so that you must put pts into certain things, making it so say, a nb tank on live, cant get 800 dps but also tank vet 12 dungeons with ease. Ok I get it, balances it, forces those to go for stam, magica, block, ect ect.

I understand there will be improvements in the future. One huge one to make all armor that doesn't have a set bonus, vender trash, at end game.

Either change some parts in the champion point trees, or stop with the round robin. We all know what you where trying to do. It doesn't work.

However at the moment, it is a huge *** off seeing points you worked hard to get, go into useless junk.

I am not crying, or complaining. I like the changes, however there are issues where parts of the changes are a waste.


Here's more of an explanation.
PROBLEM IS you make it round robin, 1 point into each area, round and round, you get to pick from 3 tree's, yes... however, THIS DOES NOT give everyone a choice. For many your stuck putting points into stuff YOU DON'T WANT.

MY OPINION BELOW, THINK WHAT YOU WANT BUT FOR ME....
I could have no pts for the theif section and really not care.
What do u get from chests? decon fodder...
gold drops? there garbage. (money not gold items)
Mount stam out of combat... yes but HOW MANY POINTS DO I NEED TO GET THAT?? WHAT??? too much sacrifice for a single bonus. You have to waste how many pts to get 1 good thing.

You get gold 20x faster just farming ore, or wood, ect, refining, selling tempers, then actually doing anything else. Less you farm some dwemer frames, or something else, along those lines, but not what the theif areas give you. It all isn't worth much.

I understand some like it. They go around, open chests explore, ect. But understand, in the long run, its not worth it. You can do the WHOLE lower and upper story line in craglorn and not even end up with enough gold in the end, to pay for repairs ( without dieing once )............... Questing and exploring at many times, runs short. These bonuses REALLY highlight such areas.

    Given the huge number of threads where people are complaining loudly about this, was another one really needed? You said nothing here not already seen umpteen times elsewhere.

    TL;DR Champion System is fine so far from the first week of testing on PTS.
