Feedback for 1.6 Animations

I have at many points asked for new animations, and finally, they are here! Most of them look great, but some still need a few tweaks.

First is the staff animations. I love the new look of how the fire and ice staff are now held behind you and the healing staff is held upright in front. I have not gotten a chance to test the lightning, but will do so soon. One of the problems I have with it is when you start moving or casting a heavy attack, the character jerks the staff forward into the running animation. This is very annoying, and should be fixed. I have noticed that this only happens sometimes, and other times, the hand with the staff is smoothly brought forward, so I know that the correct one is there. Another thing is that for the light attacks the motion is kind of jerky too, but that's minor. Finally, the running animations for both the healing and the frost/fire is the same, but that is not major at all.

I still have some complaints about the sprinting animation, however. I like how it is changed so that instead of pounding their feet into the ground, the character brings them forward and down and then back and up. However, the legs move extremely fast, unnaturally fast, and it still looks a little weird. I think a little more movement in the upper body and longer strides would do the trick.

I have heard a few complaints about the 2 handed sword, and I agree. Though I have rarely used it, it now feels like it has almost no weight, and the character is swinging a feather.

I have not really tried dual wield, bow, or 1 hand and shield, so I will leave that up to others.

ZOS please read this and consider some of these as needed changes.

    You guys really need to see how fast and smooth a guy swinging a properly weighted two handed sword can go. Just cause it's "large" doesn't mean its unwieldy. That said I don't really like the wrecking blow animation it looks like I'm winding up for an uppercut and then I super speed bunt them in the face.     I feel like we should talk more on this subject, as this game is beautiful and the beauty of it its a big part of the gameplay.

    First of, I love how DK's Dragon Scale animation looks like in 1.6, it's just INSANELY EPIC! Best animation in the game. Also, tho might not be the place here, but the new 3rd person FOV maxed it's just proper for an MMO. I really enjoy it. I also love the animation of Petrify, turning the target into a grey stone.

    But there are animations like Vigor for instance, thats some plain ugly *** right there. Or the idle position while holding a staff. That looks pretty dumb.
    I don't like how the horse speeds up as soon as you mount or the way its slides sideways when you curve abruptly.

    Animations in this game are still choppy and clumsy looking. They need to stop animating with stone age programs and get motion capture.

    No matter what weapon you pick or how high your skill level is with that weapon, you still look like an untrained amateur.
